A wonderful stay with amazing views, great food, and outstanding service.

The hotel is in a fantastic location — so relaxing with incredible views. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere made our stay feel truly special. The staff were very kind and helpful, and we were especially impressed with Jayden, who took great care of us (and our baby) throughout our stay! His warmth and attention made a real difference.

We booked the courtyard room, which is directly next to the bar, so you can clearly hear the water machine through the wall. Next time would book a different room. Additionally, there is no door to the toilet — just an open wall with the toilet tucked around the corner, which doesn’t provide much privacy.

Absolutely beautiful.

Everything. Massive bedroom and bathroom with incredible facilities and luxury. Walked right into the Boulders path for a swim and back and away from the hustle of tourists.

The neighbouring room kept cutting across our private deck and up it to get to their room. A huge family and nearly caught me naked about five times and my partner lying on bed too. Meant we shut curtains rather than enjoyed the view. Suggested a privacy panel be erected between rooms so they couldn’t cut across.

It was great.

Everything was great,except for no staff member being able to provide us with a snack or beverage after 8pm.

The gentleman that had answered the front desk phone hadn't been a customer service champion like his fellow staff members.

It was a warm and cosy stay near the penguins. Strongly recommend it.

Location: very near to the Boulders Beach penguins; there was a side gate that leads directly out to the boardwalk next to the visitor centre about 1 min away. Perfect spot for an early morning walk to see the penguins. Facilities: the room was spacious and cosy and there was a good smart TV with Netflix/Youtube. Bathroom was well furnished with a bath tube and amenities. Bed was good. Service: Staff was friendly and attentive the moment we entered and service was impeccable. They provided lot of good recommendations of Simon’s Town. Breakfast was awesome with a view of the bay.

Perhaps a privacy curtain or door could be considered between the bedroom and bathroom. It can also be dark at night driving back from Simon’s Town. Head out early for dinner.

Again a great stay

We love the hotel and come back every year for our anniversary and my wife brings friends for breakfast and lunch now and again as the location and ambiance is great.

My Steak was well done when I asked for medium, my wife had medium rare and that was done perfectly. At breakfast I asked for soft poached eggs and got one medium and well-done egg. The lady doing the cooking seems to have problems getting that right. Thsi is the second time we visited where the heated pool was not heated, I hope next time it will finally work and have the cover on so it stays warm. It is offered as a feature, but not available and we came prepared for a swim with a view.

Beautiful space and made to feel like a queen

The hotel is beautifully furnished, with comfort and luxury being the focus. Loved the fireplaces in all the lounges and even the outdoor boma. Compliments to all the staff who conducted themselves in a professional manner.

Unfortunately, with power outages, certain appliances in our room would not work. The hotel did their best by bringing in a gas heater. However, possibly a generator should be considered.

Hands down one of the best experiences we had in Cape Town

The team were all amazing hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They accommodated an early check in for us and gave us a thorough orientation when we arrived. Beautiful large bedrooms, each one unique and also awesome breakfast views upstairs looking out at the penguins. The decor of the entire place is very tasteful and fits perfectly for a beachside getaway.

Wonderful stay!

The hosts were extremely caring and flexible. Beautifully dressed and happy faces. Our room was very well positioned and shaped and perfect size. The direct access to Boulders boardwalk is just great, we could see the penguins at night where they sleep.

The food. Its not gourmet like at Tintswalo Atlantic. We were hoping for that kind of food.

Luxury accommodation and service on a beautiful site

This was more luxury than we were used to. The property, room and particularly the bathroom were spectacular, I think we were upgraded from what we originally booked. I mean, there was a Butler if you can believe it, and we didn't really know how to take advantage of that and played wide of him. Views are fantastic, and Penguin colony is adjacent and accessible from the property. Breakfast was included but we only had a light breakfast due to time constraints, and that was good. We had dinner at the property (pay extra) which was a set menu, and delicious. Staff were great. I think this Tintswalo group have properties in other placess too, including safari sites, so I'd be more than happy to try one again.

Occasional racket and whiff from Penguins, but not actually a problem. Lots of stairs which didn't worry us, but might worry you, room was one level though.

Peaceful hotel with great privacy and superb staff only let down by quality of dinner

Good was good. Nice view of ocean from dining area.

Dinner was not great both nights. Food was bland and poorly seasoned. Meat quality could be better. Dessert was possibly from a packet not from scratch. Didn’t taste chef quality, more like catering company quality.
