We could not have asked for better communication; Rhonda is awesome to rent from. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked incredibly well. We never ran out of hot water with 9 of us staying there. This home accommodated all of us & we never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool was incredible but to have a bathroom right there so the kids & adults didn’t have to go into the house was so so convenient. We will definitely be going back

This was a lovely property! We were there for high school baseball and the location was made it easy to get to the fields. Being close to the beach for our downtime was great. We knew the weather would keep the pool water chilly but would have loved an option to pay extra to heat it. We had 6 adults and 4 children and it was plenty of space.

The location was great with a very short walk to the beach. The pool was a really good size, with plenty of lounging areas and furniture. The problem with the pool is the sides and bottom are really rough causing several of the grandkids to have bloody toes and feet. The inside of the house was decorated very nicely and made you feel at ease in the home. There was plenty of space for everyone and it never felt crowded.
The things that disappointed me could be simple fixes for the owner and I hope they are addressed. All the beds looked beautiful with tons of decorative pillows. But we had to strip them down and put the sheets and pillow cases on before we could go to sleep the first night. I've never had to do that in any home rental and after a long day of travel it's not something I would look forward to doing ever again. I couldn't find the bed linens for the futon. There wasn't a lot of towels and I had to wash them daily. The towels were not used at the beach or pool, I always pack plenty of beach towels but never bath towels. The main level bathroom had mold on the shower curtain. The driveway was covered in sand and was tracked into the house and pool area, even when we hadn't been to the beach yet. We were not told that the water would be shut off on Thursday from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. for maintenance. Several of us hadn't showered yet to get ready for our days events. I had to make several trips to get pool water to flush the toilets. We used bottle water to clean up and get ready that day. I can't totally blame the owners, but someone didn't pass the notice on. The listing needs to reflect that there is no longer a cooler on the first floor balcony and there are no hammocks on the second floor balcony.
My reason for the 3 stars is the use of cameras on the outside of the property. I don't mind security cameras at the doors and gate to the pool, but the one that points at the pool and sitting area is an invasion of expected privacy. At night you could see the light come on the camera and it stayed on, making us feel like we were being watched. The light wasn't activated by motion on several occasions as we were sitting perfectly still. After seeing that all swim sessions felt like we were being watched. I can only hope that there are no cameras hidden inside the house as well.
