The Lazy Moose Lodge is a relatively new luxury log home/chalet which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and is only minutes from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park (plus it's a convenient base camp for optional day-trips to other area attractions - e.g., Grand Tetons National Park (known for it's iconic scenery), the Bear Tooth Highway ("Highway to the Sky"), Big Sky resort ("Biggest Skiing in America"), Ennis, MT ("Fly Fishing Capital of the World), Virginia City, MT ("living ghost town"), etc).

Note: The West Entrance is often considered the best for first-timers due to its convenient access to iconic spots like Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic Spring.

The home is privately situated in a grove of beautiful Lodge Pole Pine, Aspen and Douglas Fir trees and has a great view from it's covered back porch into the Gallatin forest, including riding trails and native forest wildlife (e.g., deer and an occasional moose or elk). It has 1,250 sq ft of living space, including 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Family Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Sleeping Loft plus a full length covered front porch and a very private covered back porch (dining porch!) overlooking the Gallatin National Forest!
