The apartment was right in the middle of the historic district, walking distance to a beautiful beach, and other attractions. It was quiet and easy to get to sleep. The little kitchen and sitting area had everything we needed to cook breakfast and make coffee. We also appreciated the small grocery store next door. My spouse left some clothing by accident and the manager was lovely and made it easy to retrieve it later in the week.
I was a little bothered by the fact that we were in an apartment at the back of the building with no external window or doors and seemingly no smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors. The was some natural light through skylights, buty if there was a fire, it would be difficult to know and to get out of the building. This is probably not surprising in an older historic building.
