Timeless style combines classic cottage appeal in this lovely and spaciously expanded 'carriage house'. The high-pitched ceilings and cathedral windows add a special charm to the lofty feel of the 2nd floor living area, and with 2 balconies, it seems as though you are "amongst the trees"! The open floor plan, comfortable down-filled seating, electric fireplace, separate level bedrooms/baths and well stocked modern kitchen with stylish coffee bar are all you need to enjoy the beauty of Harbor Springs and the surrounding area. The heated single car garage means you won't be scraping ice or waiting for your vehicle to warm up in winter months...during the warmer seasons you'll find the garage essential as parking is very limited in town.
Originally built as a garage studio in 2008 over an original carriage house footprint associated with a church that once stood next door, two bedrooms and a master bath were added during the fall of 2018. Adjacent to the upper floor living space and kitchen is a large suite w/queen bed, wall mounted smart TV, wood flooring and dramatic ceiling. French doors under the magnificent cathedral window open to a comfortable deck overlooking the courtyard. The ensuite bath, with heated marble flooring and oversize marble shower, is well stocked with luxurious towels plus a blow dryer, straightener, magnifying mirror and complimentary toiletries. The ground floor queen bedroom, with heated tile flooring and room darkening drapes, features sliding patio doors where you can watch deer, squirrels, chipmunks and a variety of birds on the bluff as you sit under the covered patio next to the water feature. This room utilizes the ground floor bathroom which is also well supplied with over-sized towels, magnifying mirror, blow dryer and complimentary toiletries.
Nestled between high vegetation fencing in front and the bluff in back is a private, secluded courtyard with bubbling water feature perfect for enjoying morning coffee, afternoon sunning and evening beverages! The propane fire table provides added warmth and ambiance while beckoning all to pull up one of four rocking chairs with accompanying blankets. We provide 2 men's and 2 ladies' bicycles w/baskets for exploring town or pedaling Little Traverse Wheel Way Bike Path. WiFi and an assortment of games and books is available for times when staying in is just as much fun as going out. Oh, and be sure to challenge your partner(s) to a high energy game of vintage PINBALL!
This charming carriage house is literally one block off main...easy walking and biking distance to the newly remodeled theater, cafes, shopping and marina. The local Farmers Market is held twice weekly downtown during summer and fall and there are TWO winter ski resorts just 5 minutes away. A wonderful place for honeymooning or romantic anniversary, couple’s getaway or special celebration, girls’ weekend or family gathering...no doubt you will find this a simply relaxing, and perfectly delightful, retreat!

Very pleasant and comfortable property with great amenities. The location is well situated in Harbor Springs where you can walk to shopping and dining. Very enjoyable living space with trees visible through upstairs windows. Plenty of coffee and other goodies are provided, as well as lots of info about the local area.

Great property, perfect location and terrific hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely be returning in the future. The hosts bent over backwards - really appreciated. Highly recommended.

Fabulous in town location so close to the shops and restaurants! Beautiful gardens and very very nice accommodations. Also close to a lot of great golf courses.
