About this cabin rental
Tastefully furnished, the cabin features three bedrooms, with two queen-size beds, a double bed, and a twin bed; an open living space, with the living room, dining room, and kitchen housed within a single great room; and a fully equipped kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, providing comfortable accommodations for up to seven guests. An expansive deck wraps around the open living space, which features wall-size windows, giving access to the home’s charming mountain view from both inside and outside the cabin.
On-site, guests can stroll the grounds on trails around the cabin, sit around the boulder-ringed fire pit, have a ping-pong tournament on the basement table, play the numerous board games provided, watch the DirectTV/Roku-enabled flat-screen television, or just sit and relax. Energetic, adventurous guests may want to hike down to the river through wilderness along steep, undesignated trails to visit the abandoned ghost town of Kendall, for which the cabin is named (approximately 2 miles away with an elevation drop of 460 feet).
Off-site activities include boating at Deep Creek Lake and skiing at the Wisp Resort (both only a 10-minute drive away); hiking the area’s numerous mountain trails; fishing the region’s many lakes and streams; whitewater rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, hunting, and much more.
