Nestled between Fredericksburg and Johnson City right at the entrance to wine country, our ranch is the perfect getaway. Come and relax under starry skies. Stroll through the wildflowers, oak trees, granite, limestone and wildlife. Have a picnic by one of the 2 creeks. Home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, study, game room (complete with bar, pool table and shuffleboard), large open living and dining with full equipped kitchen, Beautiful front and back porches overlooking this gorgeous property. This ranch is also a working ranch, so wildlife is abundant.

The pictures are beautiful, but in-person the property is GORGEOUS!! Wonderfully decorated, you can tell the owners put alot of love into their home! You can feel the stress melting away. Yes there are some bugs (not in the house) but hey you are in the Texas Hill Country. Well stocked all around! Breezy front porch and awesome gameroom. Christy and Jason (caretakers) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They made us feel at home and any questions we had were answered right away! They were just a text away! Thank y'all so much for the great memories! If you rent this place you will absolutely not be disappointed!!!

What a beautiful property! My husband and his friends enjoyed a great birthday weekend at this beautiful house. They went to Fredricksburg one day and visited Grape Creek Vinyard and did some shopping. The rest of the weekend was cooking and hanging in the man cave. Great house!

Our family was looking to get out of the city and enjoy nature and we got exactly that. The drive from Johnson City was lovely and the landscape was beautiful (we got to enjoy wildflowers too). The house had everything we needed and was a very comfortable ranch house. There were interesting books to read, fun decor, comfortable beds, and the water pressure was excellent. The hosts were helpful and kind and we can't wait to return!

MI would Definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our visit. The house was perfect. The scenery wasn't incredible and ost of all the game rooms made it all worth it. The only thing negative I would say is that the master bedroom is a bit hot with no circulation, but it cools down at night. There is very low water pressure throw out all the showers. But that is variable for what you get on the price of the stay. The drive from Fredericksburg and Johnson city is longer than id like, but worth it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Great host. Very friendly and gave us our privacy.

The house was clean and very comfortable. We saw deer, birds, wild turkeys, and even some antelope. Of course, there were horses and cattle. It is about 40 minutes to Fredericksburg, but the drive was easy. We are from Dallas, so getting away from the city noise was great and worth the drive. We had fun playing pool, boardgames, and shuffleboard. We did not have any cellphone services for our AT&T or T-Mobile phones, however, we used Wifi calling using the internet at the house and didn't miss a call. We wanted to get away from the city and have some family time. We were able to do that and had a great time.

We arrived very late. It was a little confusing to find in the dark, but not impossible. Day time, no problem. The house is beautiful. The game room was a lot of fun. The critters that frequent the land and feeders were abundant. The weather was gorgeous, so it was real nice sitting outside listening to the cows chatter. Chris was very responsive when I had questions. Great place

We spent four days with friends at this gorgeous property. It's a little remote, but that's what made it so fun! The property itself has deer, pigs, and turkeys, 650 acres, and a spring fed creek/river. About 15-20 minutes to Johnson City and 35-40 to Fredericksburg.

Pictures just don’t do justice. When we pulled up there were deer and turkey feeding in front of the house. The house was so nice inside and really has everything that you could possibly need. The game room puts this place over the top. But beyond all of that, the views of the beautiful country that this place sits on is truly breathtaking. Make sure not to forget to take a walk down to the creek which has a nice place to swim and enjoy the waterfalls. The only drawback is it is quite a drive from Fredericksburg, but if your looking for that secluded getaway then look no further! Also, Crisilda was a great host and does a wonderful job managing this property! Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at the ranch. We have young adult kids and they were never bored. House is very comfortable and clean. We did a lot of exploring and hiking around the creek (which seemed more like a river with little falls). There were a few pigs, cows & a horse on the property. We saw lots of deer too. Our favorite was this friendly little dog who was an unexpected visitor - he hung out with us at the creek and most of the day until his owner came looking for him :). The game room is perfect and we used it ALOT! I can see how you could never need to leave the property during a stay. We ventured over to Fredricksberg for wine tastings - 30 min drive from the house. Perdenales falls 20 min away. We would stay here again for sure!!!

Next time we stay there, we will buy groceries at HEB & cook most of our meals. Restaurants were good but the house was set up where we never had to leave. We enjoyed playing shuffle board & pool. And sitting outside listening to the turkeys. And watching the deer eat. We hope to go there next year again.

We absolutely loved this place! It was a little further out than we thought but totally worth the drive. The peaceful creek, the wildlife and the huge porch are perfect for relaxing. The place was very clean and Criselda helped us get the grill started, she was wonderful to deal with! We look forward to staying here again!

This was a wonderful home on a working ranch. Loved the animals and the view from the property. My family enjoyed the game room in the evenings (and, throughout the day...thanks to the ice storm). The fire place in the living area was wonderful since we could not enjoy the outdoor pit. Was able to grill food under the back porch which really was convenient. This is really a great property and my family had such a wonderful time...convenient to Fredericksburg and wineries.

If you are looking for a tranquil respite from the everyday grind, with all of the creature comforts and luxuries of a big beautiful home AND amazing views of the Texas Hill Country, then this is a must! Crisilda is a great host and is obviously very proud of the property because the house and game room were immaculate! It was just my husband and myself who went for a weekend getaway, and we never left the property. We stopped in Johnson city for groceries on the way in and didn't leave til checkout! This place has everything you need with options for fun, adventure and rest all wrapped in one. We thoroughly enjoyed playing pool, shuffleboard and darts in the gameroom while listening to music and watching the big screen tv above the bar. The master bed is comfy and the blinds provide near blackout conditions for sleeping. The huge master bath shower, with double rainfall showerheads, is a super relaxing way to refresh at the end of the day. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, grilling utensils, pots/pans, etc. Plus both a drip coffee pot as well as a keurig. Crisilda even supplies a ton of pods to choose from as well as 2 different types of ground coffee and filters for the drip maker. If you aren't playing in the game room or watching one of the flat screen tvs (or playing games on your phone - wifi worked great for us), there is a ton of exploring to do around the property. There is a large screened in gazebo and picnic table down by the creek where you can hang out in the shade or fish the creek (catfish). There are huge covered porches that extend across the entire front and back of the house with seating. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening watching the deer while the sun went down. We just loved everything about this place. We will definitely be returning for more quiet weekends. And I can see me taking my teenage kids out to the house and even renting it for a girl's weekend! There really is something for everyone out there. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house and property with others. It is a true gem out in the Hill Country. <3

The place was a great stay for families. It was close to a beautiful creek and the property was gorgeous! The kids spotted deer, wild turkey and cows almost every day. We enjoyed our stay. It was 25 miles to everything we wanted to do. Centrally located for us. We will stay again. It is in the country, so you will have suprises, bugs, deer, and other wildlife. I took my daughter's 4 teenage girl friends for a trip to the Hill Country. They loved the house it was perfect for the 6 of us, very isolated especially for us city folk. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of space for all of us and great scenery. Please note it is a dirt road to the house and google maps doesn't plot it accurately, apple maps did, and very limited cell service (Verizon was ok). Exactly what we were looking for a getaway from the city.
