Quaint cute home! Comfortable beds and very clean. Nice that there was a traditional coffee pot for my husband and not a K cup. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a great setup. Living area and kitchen are in the middle of home with bed/bath on either side. Nice yard, however, with our visit being in August, we did not get outside to enjoy.We would definitely stay here again:)

Overall my stay was very pleasant! The property was clean and as advertised. Everything looked like the pictures except the lawn was fairly overgrown. The location was ideal and within easy walking distance of downtown. I greatly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Johnson City.

Perfect location for visiting the wineries on 290. We liked being in Johnson City rather than Fredericksburg. Enjoyed sitting in the back yard in the evening. Inside is updated and had everything we needed. A very enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our short stay in Johnson City. This sweet house was perfect for us. It was an easy walk to lots of locations- a local coffee shop, a local breakfast place and a local craft brewery. It was an easy drive to the tasting rooms and local wineries on 290 and to the Lyndon B. Johnson historical sites. This house sits in a terrific location. We made good use of the backyard and the barbecue grill, and the kitchen was appointed with everything we needed and then some. The house was easy to find. We arrived later than expected and in the dark, but the house was very welcoming with lights on - waiting for us. The owners were easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this property.

The property was super easy to find. The host communicated quickly when we had questions. The outdoor space was well groomed and had comfortable adirondack chairs around a gas fire pit. It was a perfect space for hanging out after a day of wine and shopping.

Glad the house had a hairdryer, iron, microwave etc. Easy walk to a great coffee shop next door. We visited several local wineries which was fun. The host was a great communicator. Great place for my wife and 2 teenagers to spend a couple of days. We had everything we needed and host was great and nearby if needed. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well supplied. Rained too much for Cornhole, but I loved seeing the boards and bags there. Covered parking was a big plus. Thank you!

Great little house in a fantastic location. Clean, well appointed, and located conveniently. We were pleasantly surprised by the reverse osmosis system in the kitchen. This was a huge bonus for us, as we usually purchase bottled water when we travel, but there was no need this time because the RO water is purer than the bottled water we buy. Also, the bed was very comfortable. So many rentals have cheap mattresses that are not comfortable to sleep on, but Little Dipper has a great one in the master (we did not use the other bedroom). We were able to walk across the street to the coffee shop and food trucks where we had great food for breakfast in the mornings. Our host was proactive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return and stay here again. Can’t say enough good things about Little Dipper!

This place is cute and convenient to everything downtown. You can walk to the coffee shop, pizza food truck (highly recommend), to the brewery, restaurants, etc. it’s clean and comfortable with outdoor sitting areas. We’ve stayed here twice and it’s been pleasant every time.

My friend and I stayed at Little Dipper for 2 nights as a side trip from Austin while visiting my son and his family. We spent the first day checking out some places in Driftwood and the second day in Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, and a winery on the way back to Johnson City. A great base for a hill country getaway. Very private rooms. Each of us had our own “wing” with separate bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard on the patio in the evenings. I plan to stay here again when my husband comes with me next time.

My best friend and I stayed here for our annual get-together and were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go in town. The place was lovely and the fact that we each had our own room and bathroom was the cherry on top. There is both a front yard and back yard outdoor space for just relaxing, which we took advantage of in the morning for breakfast and the evening with a glass of wine. Highly recommend!

We stayed here with another couple for a getaway weekend trip to the hill country. The location was right inn Johnson City, very close to restaurants and walkable to a cute little coffee. The house was clean, well stocked and very cute. Both bedrooms were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were perfect so we did not have to share. It was raining much of out trip so we did not get to enjoy the front porch chairs or firepit in backyard but they were a nice touch to the property. Highly recommend!

Really nice showers! Weather so nice we spent time in backyard and also sitting in front porch. So close to coffee shop and town for restaurants. Very cute town with interesting shops and a brewery. Shannon's Little Dipper was the perfect spot and such a charming home. It was very clean, well appointed and warmly decorated. She was a super host, bringing us one item that we wasn't onsite, so responsive. The location was great for walking to the nearby restaurants and we appreciated Shannon's recommendations for them. The LBJ boyhood home was just a few blocks away and we enjoyed the tour as well as the information from the volunteers at the visitor center. The home was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the home and Shannon's hospitality!

The Little Dipper is very nice. I loved how it was decorated. It fit the house perfectly. It is very close to a lot of the wineries we visited. A hop, skip and jump to Fredericksburg which we went too during our adventure. We hope to do this again soon.
