My family has never been to Siesta Key and we’re pleased beyond expectations with both the area and our hosts! The bungalow was perfect for our family of 3 + dog. Our hosts were awesome extremely helpful and friendly. They checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. While the beaches weren’t dog friendly (which we knew) the rest of the island was very welcoming. We even found a nightly dog get together in our neighborhood that was a perfect way to tire out the pup and get to know the neighbors. Definitely on our “must return” list. Thank you Rich and Ali for a wonderful Christmas holiday.

January, February and March 2018 is my third annual visit at Tropical Hideaway. After owning a seasonal home on Siesta Key for 18 years I sold it 4 years ago to "simplify my life" and eliminate concerns when away for 8+ months. Tropical Hideaway has been a wonderful and easy transition.
Rich and Ali have been outstanding landlords/hosts and the house is very comfortable, clean, well appointed and a joy to live in. Located close to the beach and the village is ideal. I recommend their properties without hesitation.

My wife and I spent three months in TROPICAL HIDEAWAY COTTAGE and enjoyed everything about the house and the location. The yard is fenced so our little dog had a wonderful and safe visit also. Rich and Ali Light had remodeled the kitchen and baths just before we arrived and everything was clean, fresh and comfortable. The house is surrounded by lush vegetation, gravel paths and there is even a small waterfall/pond.
This is a comfortable, secluded location and only a short walk to the Siesta Key Beach. Siesta Key village is nearby with nightlife, restaurants, grocery, hardware, drug stores and a bank. All the wonderful attractions of Sarasota are 10 - 15 minutes away.
We loved our visit and are signed for next winter. Great house, great location and wonderful landlords. Happy restful vacation!
