The 'Blue Wave' house is a one-of-a-kind oceanfront resort home located in the Kolea community that was completely upgraded in 2020. This beautiful 4 bedroom home was custom built to make every dream of an oceanfront paradise come true - with a private pool deck and hot tub, indoor movie theater, indoor hot tub and rare oceanside location. 'Blue Wave' is only feet from the tidal pools of protected Anaeho'omalu Bay where you can snorkel, kayak or stand-up-paddle right out your back door. Watch from your pool deck as pods of dolphins leap through the air just offshore, or take a short walk to the beautiful beaches of A-Bay.
The entry way to 'Blue Wave' is lined with koi ponds and views to the ocean through the glass walls. Inside, guests enjoy inspiring furnishings and modern artwork that lends style and character to this home. Fully retractable pocket doors open the main living area to the pool and ocean for seamless indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen features granite counter tops, a chef's stove, Wolf appliances and a nearby outdoor grill.
Guests will love the special themes of each bedroom. The Grand Master Suite faces the ocean and features it's own indoor hot tub. It has a king size bed and a large private oceanfront office to keep up with work while you are away. The Grand Master Suite is decorated in calming ocean blues with a beautiful blown-glass chandelier for dreamy mood lighting. The huge master bathroom boasts a grand stone bathtub, a separate 2-person shower, an outdoor shower, two vanities and a walk-in closet.
The second master is called the 'Island Room' and is constructed in tropical woods and bamboo finishes. It has a 4-poster king bed, flat screen TV and a private bathroom. The 3rd bedroom or the 'Modern Room' has a queen bed, flat screen TV, and a private bathroom. The 4th bedroom is the 'Nippon Room' done in a Japanese style. It also has a queen size bed and a private bathroom. There are tv's in all bedrooms except the Nippon room and every room has outdoor access. Other bonus features of this unique property include a home theater that seats 12, a Meditation Room with an extensive library of books and a half-court basketball court in the front of the house.

We were a multigenerational family. Home worked out great for everyone. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. Have stayed on the big island many times. This was a fantastic location; private, yet close to so much. The home just sold and it’s getting ready for a remodel. Hopefully this will fix the issues we had on our vacation, such as problems with the lights and electronics.The management company was wonderful to work with.If the home stays a rental, would definitely rent again

Amazing house with a spectacular view which deserve 5 stars alone. House does have a few issues like the propane gas. Three engineers all agree it’s likely the main regulator at the tank which cause the oven, grill, and Tiki torches to all starve for gas. The water pressure is disappointing and needs a booster pump and limiting the AC to 72 works fine during the day but causes it to get uncomfortably humid at night. Otherwise beautiful property and well equipped property.

Very nice home situated on a beautiful piece of property. Close to restaurants and shops yet private. Overall, the condition of the house was good but some rooms needed updating.

My family had a very nice time here. The house is as advertised. Looked great inside. The backyard pool was used often. The location was great with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels. The gas grill in the backyard was not very hot. It maxed out at 250 degrees F. Overall, we would come back here again!
