• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves

Enjoy free use of our collection of bikes (adult and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Things to do:
Within the Waikoloa Beach Resort you'll find the white sand A-Bay (Anaeho'omalu Bay) beach. A short drive away are a dozen of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
Inside the community is the Beach Club Pavilion. This amazing, oceanside recreation center has a infinity pool overlooking A-Bay Beach and the historic Waikoloa fish ponds. There is a sand-bottom keiki (children's) pool with waterfall feature and a jacuzzi surrounded by natural lava rock. There is also an open-air fitness hale overlooking the pool area. Take a one-minute walk down the path from the beach club to A-Bay beach. Kolea homes have the easiest, shortest walk from home to the beach in the Waikoloa Resort!

This property is located in a gated community that is pristinely kept. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture comfortable, the location was amazing. I could have sat on the lanai all day if island adventures hadn’t called me away. Communication with property management was thorough and prompt. Would stay here again.

We absolutely could not fault this condo. We have stayed in many properties over years of travel and this was perfect in every way. The layout is wonderful with plenty of space for multi generational family of 6 adults 1 child and toddler. It was really thoughtfully and well equipped with everything we needed, including every appliance you could want, full beach gear, a cot and high chair. The great assortment of games and toys kept our grandson amused and encouraged us to spend time together. The outdoor area and grill were a bonus as was the grassed area in front of the condo. Do beware mosquitoes, they are a bit of a problem but thoughtfully supplied mossie zapper and citronella candles helped. We were pleasantly surprised by range and cost of Queens groceries - yes expensive but all Hawai’i is and I didn’t feel gouged. Can recommend Lava Lava Beach club for fun family night out and also the fish and chips at Kings for takeaway - great coconut shrimp. The resort pool was perfect for us and although we did visit the water park at the Hilton twice really preferred the tranquility and ease of our own resort. Weather was amazing!!! Enjoyed turtles at the beach near the resort and it was well place for trips to local beaches and airport. The volcano national park is also a must!!! Go late and take sweater it gets cold!!As one of our daughters living in New York and the rest of us living in Australia, Hawai’i is the perfect meeting ground. We loved it and can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely fabulous rental. They’ve thought of everything - beach gear, cooler, Tupperware, pretty much any kitchen gadget you could imagine, games, even post-it notes and pencils in the kitchen. The unit was clean and with nice quality dishes, linens, & towels. We rented two units for our extended family reunion and used this as our home-base for dinners and group time - it was perfect! Easy check in and great communication with the management company.

We had a great time this past week at Blue Sunset. The property is set in a quiet neighborhood with a nice pool and a good beach walking distance away. The condo was extremely well stocked with all the beach and vacation things we could want for a vacation. We went to the Hilton one day the passes were great. Other great beaches nearby, overall it was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. I would absolutely come back.
