About this house rental
Our GARDEN COTTAGE is a quaint, newly renoveated home in the middle of all the famous attractions that draw people to Newport; the beautifully landscaped MANSIONS along BELLEVUE AVENUE, the unmatched beauty of our CLIFF WALK and our 10 MILE OCEAN DRIVE, down the street is a small private beach available to walkers, swimmers and sun bathers. I have always loved Newport and have found it amazingly beautiful, relaxing and exciting. Newport was listed on ABC GOOD MORNING AMERICA as one of the 10 MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN AMERICA. You will enjoy watching their news video. The URL for Good Morning America's Video can be found in a Google search using key words GMA's 10 Most Beautiful Places in America. ALMY COTTAGE allows you the choice of cooking your own meals or dining out in one of our many wonderful area restaurants. The Cottage has three bedrooms, two on the first floor - both with queen-sized beds and a large master bedroom on the second floor with a king-size bed. There are full bathrooms on both the first and second floor. The second floor has views of ALMY POND along with some of Newport's mansions. This Cottage is rented by the month during the seasons of Spring, Summer and Fall. If you are looking for something smaller, please see our other property at VRBO # 19140.
The BEACH, the CLIFF WALK, the MANSIONS and SALVE REGINA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS are all within two blocks of us. DOWNTOWN NEWPORT is 1 mile to the north.
Conveniently located for you to enjoy the summer's annual NEWPORT MUSIC FESTIVAL, NEWPORT JAZZ AND FOLK FESTIVALS. Stay with us, ride your bikes and avoid the traffic. Come and surf, swim, fish, bike, paddle board, sail or just relax. Just spending the day sitting on the rocks by the water on the Cliff Walk or Ocean Drive can be a delightfully, relaxing experience.
Enjoy our beautiful yard. Also, we have an outdoor porch with a grill for your cookouts. Sleep peacefully in our quiet location when you return from your escapades each evening.

This cozy house is just a short walk from some of Newport's nicest beaches. It is clean, well furnished, has all the amenities one could want, and is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We stayed for six weeks and it truly became our home away from home!

My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this charming cottage that is walking distance to one of the best and quietest beaches in Newport. You're also within reach of the Bellevue Ave mansions and cliff walk without being stuck with the crowds. The home comes well equipped and the owners are very responsive to whatever it is you may need. If you are looking to take advantage of all that Newport has to offer, this is a great place to call home.
