Location, location, location! Welcome home to this street-level beautifully renovated condo right on Thames St. This condo lies in the heart of Newport, steps from downtown, ocean drive, and the beaches. Features include all brand new amenities with a nautical décor. Fresh off a major overhaul including top of the line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, new furniture and flat screens- this unit has it all! A small yard out back and laundry access upon request complete the space.
The space: This newly redone condo features high ceilings and lots of natural light. Large all new windows give this unit an airy feel that compliment the tasteful furnishings. The entire kitchen is brand new, with a granite breakfast nook, stainless steel Samsung appliances, and all the amenities you could need. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds with TV's on the walls and all the channels you could need, including premium movie channels.

Let me start by saying the owner was extremely responsive. However, we ran into several snags with this property. The cleaning crew was subpar. We arrived to the unit to find ice cream pint lids in the sofa, old dog toys under the furniture, hair behind the doors and lots of dust. On top of that the sheets in one of the bedrooms had large holes ripped in them. It is also very inconvenient to have to get permission to access the laundry. The washer and dryer are both inside the unit, so it seems odd that you would have to bother the owner to get a key. We also found the property to be very noisy. It is a bottom level unit so some noise from above is expected. However when the upstairs neighbors wake your child up at 1:00am using profanity that seems like it’s coming from inside your unit, something is definitely wrong. The same holds true for the foot traffic passing by. Fire trucks and police also drive by with sirens on a frequent basis. Parking is also an issue. I spent more time than I care to think about circling the neighborhood in hopes of finding a space. In short, we LOVED Newport but will not be frequenting this residence again.
