Dolphin West - Magnificent Beachfront Home-a Vacation to Remember!
Step out into a world of uncrowded beaches and white sand! Sit on the screened porch or deck and enjoy the sounds of the gulf or watch for dolphins from the second story deck.
This beautiful house is 2,850 sq ft and has been newly renovated!
Updated kitchen with stainless appliances, granite countertops and plent of cabinet space.. Our home also has a full bar with large capacity ice maker!
Huge great room with 10 foot ceilings, oversized windows and French doors that look directly to the Gulf of Mexico. Two Large master bedrooms share a private balcony overlooking the magnificent Gulf each with its own bath, one with freestanding tub, huge walk-in closet and sitting area.
Additional bedrooms include a king bed, full bed/single bed, downstairs bedroom with 2 full beds and private bath. Home has 4.5 baths.
The great room is perfect for entertaining friends and family. The open design includes a separate bar with its own sink and ice machine. The large windows bring the beach inside with the calming sound of waves, stunning views, and colorful sunsets. Leave the great room and enjoy the spacious deck with screened in porch and laid-back rocking chairs.
Dolphin West is located in the peaceful Bay to Breakers community which is surrounded by single family homes and small subdivisions. This beach side community lies about 1 mile west of historic Fort Morgan. This is an area where residential beach homes far outnumber high rise developments and much of the surroundings remain wild and untouched by man. The distance from the ever popular Gulf Shores hot spots, is what makes Fort Morgan appealing to many of its fans. Others come for the golf or the fishing.
Golf is a huge draw to the area, with over 45 of the potential 200 holes of Gulf Shores area golf being located in the Fort Morgan area between The Peninsula and Kiva Dunes. Kiva Dunes has been recognized as being among the Top 75 courses by Golf Digest and rated the #1 course in Alabama. Bay to Breakers is about a mile from the Gulf Shores Yacht Club, thus chartered inshore and offshore trips are available. You can also launch your own personal watercraft and just spend the day cruising the waters!

This place fit exactly what we wanted for our family beach vacation. We brought 4 families and 5 grandchildren ages 1 1/2 to 11. The beach was a close walk. We did not feel crowded with other families on their beach vacation. There are tents to rent or you can bring your own. The bonus was the ice cream truck every afternoon! We had the best time!

We enjoyed our time in Gulf Shores very much. The location and size of the house was perfect for our group. This was actually our second stay here since we enjoyed the location so much last year. Unfortunately this trip we did encounter several issues. -The satellite was not functional on any televisions- the owner was able to navigate and have services by midweek-should now be resolved.-The internet was essentially non-existent. Listing says 500mbps but we were getting about 5mbps on speed testing. You definitely could not work from this location if this is typical (which the host says it is). 5mbps only supports about one device and with a house for 15 it’s essentially zero internet service. - The ice machine in the fridge and the seperate ice machine were both non-functional which was really disappointing. Our first stay last year we really enjoyed having the ice machine for coolers/trips to the beach. -In general the maintenance and upkeep of this home was just not great. There are only a few chairs on the porch which are plastic and flimsy ( not the ones in the photos). Kitchen was stocked but along the way I’m assuming glasses etc have disappeared because we only had 5 total coffee mugs, 9 water glasses, and 1 wine glass. Some of the furniture in the bedrooms was falling apart such as the dresser drawers and chair in the master suite and we had issues with the AC leaking inside due to maintenance issues.Again location was great but could use some TLC
