A curtain in the guest room was damaged prior to our arrival, and the window was covered with a sheet. Broken curtain needs replacing. The sheet covering the window was out of character for such a lovely property.

Thermostat was not functional. I called and was told someone would contact us and come to the unit, but no one ever came or addressed the problem. It was quite warm.
I texted about some issues: broken microwave handle; divot in wall of main bedroom; picture fell of the wall; shower door did not seal closed

The view and location is just a dream. As someone else wrote, up to three (!) bald eagles passed by every day and enjoyed the winds. Despite weather forecast, we were blessed with great weather every day and enjoyed almost perfect (as is usual in June) sunsets almost every day. Size of bedroom and living room as well as kitchen equipment great.
Our poor rating applies solely to the omissions of the property management Vacasa. They failed to repair what is broken or set up what is necessary. Here are a number of examples:
The owner's welcome letter dated Jan 2024 mentioned broken tiles that were still broken. Blinds in both bedrooms were broken - we complained, were made to awkwardly report with photos (though obviously - earlier ratings and signs put up at window - the damage was known) but nothing was done. Programs in full HD are cut off at the edges on the TV set (and the TV set is stored in a cupboard so that visible only when sitting right in front of the TV). WiFi often went down.
The patio - all important to enjoy the main feature, the view - offered only one mossy concrete chair, there were no "two plastic chairs at the front door" (as mentioned in the owner's letter). Also, the mentioned 2 seat hammock was not usable, since the hammock stand was far too small for it. The hangers that came with the hammock had nowhere to fit - apparently, noone installed the "obvious" hooks.
Someone came to clean the windows, both at the apartment above and this one with a *hose*, which resulted in us not being able to use the patio for more than a day. Why this cannot be done between 10 am and 4 pm between two rents, we don't know.
The end-of-rent instructions ask to remove bed covers - we think this is not fitting for an appartment this price.
