About this house rental
Please provide the number of and ages of guests in your party. Events/parties/gatherings of any type or size are prohibited. Parking for 3 cars in private drive. On street parking is not an option. Two 50 pound dog maximum. Please let us know if your 4 legged family member will be joining you. There is a non-refundable pet deposit and additional pet cleaning fee.
Apple Cider House at Cross Creek is: 6.2 miles north of Downtown Asheville, 3.7 miles to groceries and gas, 7.3 miles to the gate at Biltmore Estate, 4.5 miles to Grove Park Inn, 5.2 miles to UNC Asheville, 16 miles to Warren Wilson College, 20 miles to Asheville Regional Airport, 83 miles to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, 124 miles to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and 10 minutes to an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Built in 1938 by James Stokely (Stokely Canning Company) and Wilma Dykeman (local historian and writer) to store and sell apples and manufacture apple cider, this historic property has been lovingly restored and undergone a major renovation with all new beautiful modern amenities, while maintaining and complimenting it's unique properties. The open floor plan and bright interior with comfortable furnishings and family heirlooms beckon you to settle in. This home boasts; 3 king bedrooms each with private modern en-suite bath with walk in shower, half bath, laundry room, pool table and game area, great room with seating for all and dining area that accommodates 6 plus comfortably. The fully outfitted bright open kitchen invites you to cancel your dinner reservations to stay in. Gather on the back deck which abuts a year round audible creek to enjoy a meal, or sit around the fire table to review the day...so peaceful. After a day of exploring all Asheville and the surrounding area has to offer, sleep soundly on comfy beds with loads of pillows and luxury bedding. So settle in to enjoy the serenity, nature, and everyone's company!

The owner provides; 2 bath towels/wash cloth/hand towel per guest, body wash each shower, pump hand soap each sink, 3 rolls of toilet paper and blow dryer in each bathroom, Keurig (assorted coffee pods provided), drip coffee maker (guest provides own ground coffee), sweetener, 2 rolls paper towels, fresh kitchen sponge, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, blender, 4 slice toaster, crock pot, hand mixer, laundry detergent.

Apple Cider House is an amazing place. It’s immaculately clean, comfortable with very nice amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful views and wildlife from the deck. We saw a bear walking! We stayed there with 2 other couples who are friends from college and had a great time! Would definitely go back when we have a big group.

Our recent stay at this Asheville vacation rental was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect mountain retreat for our vacation.
The interior of the rental was simply exquisite. The attention to detail and tasteful decor created an atmosphere that was both luxurious and cozy. Every room was immaculate and well-appointed, providing all the comforts of home and then some. The fully equipped kitchen was a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking, and we took full advantage of it by preparing some memorable meals during our stay.
Lastly, I must commend the property management team. They were incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart.
