Our home is located directly on the beachfront, surrounded by Costa Rica’s beautiful natural environment. This means you will experience ocean sounds, tropical weather, and occasional visits from local wildlife such as crabs, iguanas, birds, and insects. For many guests, this is part of the charm of staying so close to nature and enjoying an authentic coastal experience. Located in San Miguel, Guanacaste, at 4.5 hours driving from San Jose, or at 2,5 hours from the Liberia Airport

La Gobetta was pure paradise. The lawn backs right up to the beach, and most of the time we had the whole beach to ourselves. Whether you want to spend your time on the lawn in a beach chair or playing in the water, this is the place for you! A fun highlight was seeing the sea turtle tracks on the beach each morning that left evidence of mamas laying their eggs under the moonlit sky the night before. The living spaces were perfect, and the amenities were just what we needed. Carlos was very responsive and easy to work with, and Jose took great care of us while we were there. Everything was very clean. We will absolutely return to this beautiful place!

We loved the place. The speed and clarity of the information sent by Carlos, along with José’s excellent attention upon arrival, were outstanding. The location, with direct access to the ocean, is an unmatched experience. We hope to return soon.
