About this house rental
Experience the quintessential Santa Barbara neighborhood by staying as our guests in our family home. The house was built in 1930, and has been extensively remodeled including the bathrooms and the kitchen. There is Eeros Mesh enhanced WiFi and it's reliable and fast. All 3 bedrooms are large, airy, and full of light. The Sunroom connected to the kitchen is the place to hang out with it's French doors (3) and 4 large windows. Off the Sunroom is a redwood deck w/ umbrella, and a comfortable and colorful patio with seating and umbrellas.
The neighborhood is walking distance from restaurants, grocery stores, Trader Joes, liquor stores, nail salons,etc..We are less than a mile from Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Club. ALL of this a few blocks from our quiet neighborhood.
PLEASE READ: My wife and I have a small and separate cottage at the rear of the property, that we stay in while you are our guests in the main house. We occupy the carport which is attached to our unit, and far back patio as well. Access to the detached laundry is provided. We use the driveway to access our unit and carport. Street parking in front of the house is readily available.
ALSO: This is not a kid friendly property, nor is it a party friendly property. We are very respectful of our neighbors and encourage our guests to be the kind of neighbor they would like living next to them.

This is a beautiful property that is owned by the hosts Rodney and Cindy. The cottage is lovely and filled with mementos of the hosts’ rich life. It is clean, comfortable, well kept and much loved. I can’t say enough about this home and the wonderful stay we had there.

Our stay was extremely smooth. The home is very clean and very accommodating. The linens on the beds were very soft. The home is decorated so incredibly cute. It was close to all of the places that we went so very well centrally located. I can’t say enough about the home and the neighborhood full of darling homes.

This is a gorgeous and comfortable home, with top-of-the line amenities, 3 good-sized bedrooms, two baths. Stayed here for our daughter's UCSB graduation. Lovely neighborhood, calm and full of citrus trees etc. We didn't use the beautiful stove or do any cooking but enjoyed the Keurig (came well stocked). This is a clearly-beloved private home and the owners stay there when not rented out, so there are lots of personal items, books etc., but not cluttered -- the kind of items that say "smart and interesting people live here!" The fridge/closets were completely emptied for us. Very cozy, clean, and relaxing for a hectic weekend of graduation.

Fully furnished beautiful cozy quaint home- they are sharing their home with you, including their collections and belongings. Owner gave tour of home upon arrival and is on property for any needs. Great for a family or multiple couples. Located a couple blocks from state street on a quiet street, and minutes from everything.
