About this cabin rental
Luxurious Riverfront Log Cabin located directly on the banks of the Frying Pan River. The Guest Cabin is located on the same property as Lodge at River's Edge and consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room with cable TV and wireless internet, a bedroom with a queen bed and an open air loft with two twin beds. There is also a pull out sofa in the Living Room.
The cabin was originally built by Colorado Midland Railroad workers in 1896, it was restored a century later in 1996. The cabin was renovated again in 2005 and 2015 . The cabin is decorated in an elegant mountain style and includes luxurious linens, comfy robes, down pillows, radiant in-floor heating, fireplace and all the amenities you would expect at a nice hotel. The sliding glass door opens up to the views and sounds of the Frying Pan River rushing by. The cabin guests' are welcome to fish on the Frying Pan River in front of the cabin and also upriver towards the main lodge.
The cabin interior was recently with a gorgeous custom staircase to the loft. Additionally, the kitchen has been remodeled with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, and wood flooring throughout. Other additions include A/C, washer/dryer, dishwasher and an upgraded bathroom with walk in shower and double vanities. No details has been overlooked.
The cabin is located only one block to the charming town of Basalt. It is a beautiful, quick 1 minute stroll to all the restaurants and shops located in town. There is a private flagstone sitting area for the cabin guests to relax next to the River. The cabin sits just 10 feet from the banks of the Frying Pan River!! Short Term Rental License #24307

We travel a lot. There are few places our family of four always agrees on going back too or all get excited about unitedly! This is the place. Always relaxing by the river. We love walking in town for meals. Great location to all things we enjoy doing. The host is amazing and easy to communicate with. We have been going for years and have found nothing we like better! So we plan on going every year in the future!
