PELICAN POINTE is located in Orange Beach directly on the Gulf of Mexico near grocery, restaurants, and souvenir shops. This non-smoking, 3 bedroom, two bath 9th floor unit is beautifully furnished, overlooks the pool and provides beautiful views of the beach and gulf. The kitchen has been newly remodeled with quartz counter tops, new cabinets and more, and is fully furnished.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and slider door access to the large covered balcony. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has two queen -beds, all with memory foam mattresses. Living room has a sofa with 2 electric recliners on each end, plus another recliner chair. This condominium has all the amenities: fully furnished kitchen with quartz counter tops, granite in bathrooms, tile throughout, full size washer and dryer, four TVs, 3 DVD players, and free high- speed internet accessibility.
There is a large outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, hot tub, bar-be-que grills, and a new lighted pickleball/tennis/basketball court. Let me start by saying that the location of this property is AMAZING!! Beach front with gorgeous views and close to several shopping areas. The overall atmosphere of the condo is very relaxing and the decor is nice. We unfortunately encountered several issues during our stay that left us with a less than positive impression. We knew before arriving that the previous renters had blown out the microwave so we had to wait till the afternoon of our second day before we had a functioning one. The owner was great about communicating this before hand, so we were prepared and adjusted accordingly. When we arrived, the AC was also not functioning. We arrived on Sunday and we did not have a functioning AC until late Tuesday. Thankfully the weather was nice, but overnight was still very uncomfortable. I had to call AGAIN on Monday night to find out why we still didn't have AC when we were promised it would be fixed "First thing Monday morning". This situation made us uncomfortable and unhappy. Also upon going to bed on our first evening, I found blood on a pillowcase in the master bedroom, a housekeeping oversight I am hopeful but still disturbing none the less. Also, if you are staying for several days, buy toilet paper. They leave you one roll. And we were only left a half of a roll of paper towels to begin our stay. Other than the issues, our stay at the property was enjoyable. Nice indoor pool with a hot tub and the outdoor amenities are also equally relaxing.
