This beachfront two-level condo located within the Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands is set on the Caribbean Beach and features a free WiFi access, a two-level children friendly outdoor pool and a private beach area overlooking St. John and British Virgin Islands.

The resort itself is located on one of the world's most beautiful Caribbean beaches - the beautiful Sapphire Beach, shaded with palms, and majestic in its beautiful jewel-toned water from aquamarine water near the beach to deep sapphire blue in the distance. There are two beaches on the property - half-mile white sandy beach and coral beach. If you like snorkeling, you will have chance to see not only Caribbean coral fish, abut also see turtles and sting ray. All this right from our beach! A standard 2-level unit with master bedroom upstairs with a lofted ceiling. Unit was very clean upon arrival. New renovations in the kitchen and new countertops. Please note this unit does not have a stove for baking/broiling etc. But does have a large microwave and excellent toaster. Living room off kitchen has a couch that unfolds into a bed. We never used it as a bed. A small table on the side for meals if desired, but we ate every meal on the deck, which overlooks the pool and harbor cove that offer breathtaking views. There is some snorkel equipment and some floating noodles etc. The unit also has 4 beach towels. A small bath is downstairs with a walk-in shower. There is also a washer/dryer combo, but the dryer is a 'ventless' dryer and takes forever. Upstairs is a large space with full queen bed with memory foam mattress. Full sized dresser and another couch that unfolds to a bed. There is a decent size closet to hang clothes. The master bath is recently renovated with a glass walled, walk-in shower. Water pressure was okay and we always had hot water. There is a wall mounted TV upstairs that has basic cable. Interestingly, the downstairs TV is much larger ,but no cable? You can use any web-based streaming service thought if desired.I won't go into the other amenities onsite, but IMO, this location on the East End is the best of any. I highly recommend you rent a car so you can drive the 1 mile to Red Hook where all the shops and restaurants are located.

Great location, condo is directly on the beach, two nice balconies looking directly to the pool area and beach. Property has onsite bar, restaurants, coffee/ice cream shop. We had a great time, will definitely stay there again. Bianca was extremely nice and very informative. She stayed in communication before, during, and after our stay to ensure we were being taken care of! Couldn’t ask for better communication!

We travelled with our 3 kids (ages 14, 12, and 7) and had a great time! Beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony and steps from the beach. Communication with the host was great - she was very responsive to our questions and gave helpful tips and suggestions. Apartment was as described and depicted in pictures. Well stocked with the dishes, utensils, etc. Only issue we had was difficulty with operating washer/dryer (perhaps adding a sheet with specific instructions for how to run it might be helpful). Overall, fantastic trip and we highly recommend staying here - if we ever return we'd stay here again!

The good:
Location! Steps from the beach (sapphire bay)and very close proximity to Red Hook and Ferry.
The king bed upstairs was very comfortable and the views from both balconies were BEAUTIFUL!
The Not so good:
Very outdated unit. Had a muggy smell to it. The kitchen def needs everything updated, from appliances to pots and pans. The sofa bed upstairs MUST be replaced. We rented for 7 nights and my poor kids both had neck and back aches from sleeping on it. It has a huge dip on one end of the mattress that is blatant I cannot believe they’ve not replaced way before now.
The wifi is VERY spotty! Most evenings only one of us could be on the wifi at a time and some nights none of us could get connection at all.
The islands are beautiful and we were in the villa mostly in the evenings. But for the price we expected better, not 5 star but at the minimum a comfortable place to sleep.
