About this house rental
Kiawah Island is a gated community where only owners of properties on the island and their guests are permitted to enter via secure gates. This provides a tremendous sense of security on the island which is important for families with children. Kiawah Island is also known for it's hundreds of miles of bike and walking paths that offer beautiful views of this spectacular island.
This vacation home is in a perfect location! It is a short walk to the beach, private pool, golf course, and the spectacular Sanctuary resort at Kiawah Island. For golfers, you have access to some of the best golf in the United States, notably The Osprey, Turtle Point, snd Cougar Point golf courses. Kiawah is also home of the world famous Ocean Course, home of the 1998 "War by the Shore" (Ryder Cup) and the 2012 and 2020 and up coming 2031 PGA Championship. If you play Tennis, The Island is home of the Roy Barth Tennis Center.
The home allows renters to walk or ride to waterparks, and access all of the shopping, spas, grocery, and many other benefits of Freshfields Market. Enjoy a weekly farm market at Freshfields that provides access to some of the best local fare, including fresh baked breads, home made lemonade and southern barbecue.
South Carolina is also home to Charleston which is a short 40 minute car ride away. Charleston is home to some of the best restaurants and shopping in the United States. The people of SC are some of the most friendly and kindest people in the world. Their southern hospitality is what makes you feel at home...the entire time you are here.

The home is beautiful and in a perfect location with easy access to the beach, private community pool, and a short walk to The Sanctuary. This was a family vacation for us, and we could not have been happier with the experience. We will definitely come again!

The Turtle Beach community is a wonderful location, especially for families with children. Easy access to the pool, to the beach, and bike trails, etc. The owner is considerate, very responsive and wanting to please renters.
