Lovely Spacious Garden Apartment in Gorgeous Very Private Tropical Setting

We stayed downstairs in the two bedroom for approximately a week and had a fabulous time! Location is amazing, short walks to beach and town. Well stocked in the way you would want to stock your own beach house with everything from bathroom essentials (we learned to have an appreciation for this after staying at a different property that seem to ration soap like it was going out of style and only had toilet paper that is barely good enough for a public bathroom at a remote campground) to beach toys to towels to cookware. The stove/oven is on the back porch but it was fun to cook outside just like it was fun to use the outdoor shower after a beach day. Jason was a MORE THAN FABULOUS host and we felt like residents not tourists which is the best part of staying in a neighborhood rather than a resort. Only tip is to bring earplugs because the floor creaks a bit when upstairs residents walk around and there are roosters around the entire island which are charming but they are very, very early risers (4am). We absolutely loved this place and we were sad to say goodbye to the house, Jason, and his lovely wife. We felt like neighbors not strangers and loved our stay. Thank you so much. This cute hale was enough space for the 3 of us. My husband loved the outdoor shower and the lush tropical gardens! We had everything we needed. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Hanalei beach and town and this was perfect! We walked everywhere, it was awesome. The host and her son were very knowledgeable and helpful, we enjoyed talking to them. 😊This is a gem and we’ll be back! A Hui Hou!🤙

We really enjoyed our stay. Great for couples or small families. Lovely garden view. Well stocked. A plentiful selection of beach equipment. Just a quick walk to Hanalei bay as well as restaurants and shopping.

Our stay at the Plumeria Suite was amazing. It’s such a cute little 2 bedroom unit, with a sprawling backyard filled with lush greenery and banana/avocado trees. Marney (owner) and Jason (on-site manager) were so helpful and accommodating. There were also beach items on site and a grill for cooking. Would strongly recommend for smaller parties.

We loved our stay at Hanalei Palms. Marney was wonderful to work with and the property was exactly as described. Very clean, incredible location and great amenities. We really appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards. Would definitely return!

Very well equipped and close to everything

What a gem this property is! We enjoyed staying surrounded by the beautiful gardens and mountains, so close to beautiful beaches and the cutest town. We enjoyed having beach equipment and laundry on site for us to use, as well. Marney went over and above to work things out so we could have a nice visit, including fixing a booking problem (our fault not hers) and doing it in such a way as to not inconvenience us at all. She really made our stay special!

We stayed in Hanalei Palms for 8 days. It is in a wonderful neighborhood just 2 blocks from the beach and walking distance to the shopping and restaurants. Marnie and Beaux took great care of us. There is an outside BBQ as well as a large closet full of all the toys you will need for the beach.We went kayaking on the river that you can see from the back porch.

This was our big family trip we have been talking about & saving for the last couple of years. We spent 7 nights on Kauai. We were a group of 13 (10 adults ages 21 to 50 & 3 grands ages 4 months, 2 & 3-1/2) & we wanted a house close to the beach & big enough for sleeping arrangements & spending quality time together. This house was perfect for that. It truly is a 3 minute walk to the beach - a beautiful, sandy beach that was fun for all ages - & a 5 minute walk to the town of Hanalei. We rented the 3 bedroom main part of the house, “Hibiscus” (2nd floor) & the 2 bedroom apartment on the main level, “Plumeria”. The house & apartment were as described, clean, & well stocked with everything you could need. When at the house we spent most of our time in Hibiscus. There was plenty of room for us all in the open floor plan of the living/kitchen/dining area of the house. The wrap around deck gave us even more space. There were toys & books for the kids as well as books, games, & movies for everyone else. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, some beach toys, & beach umbrellas as well as 2 wagons to get everything to & from the beach, with a little space for a kid or 2. The house is surrounded by tropical plants & sounds, with a small yard in the back. The driveway had plenty of room for the 3 cars we rented. When at the house it does not feel like you are in a neighborhood cul-d-sac, but in the tropics. The setting around the house reminded me of when we visited Costa Rica. The master bedroom did seem to stay a little cooler than the rest of the house, which my husband & I appreciated. The deck off the master was wonderful to sit on as well. I do recommend good earplugs for sleeping as there are chickens & roosters in the area, well actually all over the island. With windows open they can wake you up earlier than you may want to be. Marney was very helpful & great with communication. We had a red eye flight home & she allowed us to us Plumeria for that day. It was so appreciated! Beaux was very helpful as well. Would definitely rent this house again for a group & highly recommend it.

My husband and I were happily surprised when we arrived at the Plumeria Suite. The suite was perfect for the 2 of us, close to the beach and town, the bikes, comfortable bed, clean and the beach cart was so convenient. At first we were dreading anyone staying upstairs but we didn't even notice them. The caretakers of the property were very pleasant and kept the property up nicely. We are hopefully returning this Fall and my friends and I will be staying upstairs at the end of Oct.. So happy to have found this place. Thank you Marney!

We've stayed twice at the Plumeria Suite. The location is great because is close to the beach, close to town, and close to Pat's Taco Truck. The two bedroom apartment is comfortably appointed, very clean and has a very private feeling. The lanai is faces a lush tropical landscape. My wife took many photos of the grounds, and one of those is her desktop image. Being so close to Hanalei Bay is a real treat because you can swim with Puff the Magic Dragon. (You have to be there to truly experience it.) The kitchen is set up with all the necessary tools, and there's a brand new gas grill to cook outdoors. There are plenty of beach goodies that are available for guests to use, mats, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and more. It saves visitors from needing to pack and carry these things on their own. There are two showers in the suite, one spacious "rain shower" in the bathroom, and a refreshing outdoors shower, which is a real treat. Marney Craig, the owner is attentive and responds quickly and professionally. She maintains the property impeccably. We highly recommend staying at the Plumeria suite, and look forward to staying again. It's an ideal house in an ideal location, and would be a great choice for most anyone. It has been the home base for two paradisical vacations for us.
