About this house rental
3 bedroom 2 bath beach side cottage with washer and dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has it's own master bath. Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and working fireplace in the living room. A deck off the back of the cottage overlooks a wonderful pond as well as a large and private back yard with a recently installed outdoor shower.
This 2 acre property is located on private Round Pond Road with less then a minute walk to beautiful Tappen's beach. Tappens beach is a semi private beach with beautiful dunes, numerous tide pools and lots rocks to climb on.
Enjoy the magic and serenity that Little Compton has to offer. Listen to the ocean as it serenades you to sleep. Have breakfast at the Commons in the center of Little Compton. Spend your day reading, swimming or fishing. Watch the sunset as you eat dinner on the back deck.

What a wonderful spot for a vacation. The house itself was bright and airy with a very private country feel. Although it had no ocean view, the beach was less than a minute’s walk away, and the ocean sounds lulled us to sleep each night. The outdoor shower was a major plus, and the back deck was a great place to relax in the evening after a day at the beach. The deck furniture was very nice but did need cushions. Though some of the indoor furnishings could use an upgrade, we understand that it is a beach house! All in all we loved our stay and are hoping to return next year.

We loved the yard and our dogs had a good time running around on the 2 acres. We enjoyed sitting on the new deck
This is an old cottage that has been partially updated My understanding is that more upgrades are coming.
Proximity to Tappen Beach is awesome. A beautiful beach.

We stayed at this Tappan's beach house and had a great week! They had extra beach chairs, sand pails, boogie boards - everything our kids needed to take full advantage of the beach just a few steps away.
The house fit our needs - it had three separate bedrooms, a dining room, a nice kitchen and an outside deck with a charcoal bbq. The kids couldnt decide where to play - the expansive back yard field or in the front yard which was just as big.
Host was responsive and had helpful suggestions. Wifi was great and worked better than most rentals we've stayed at.
