Prime Location:
Located in the heart of Kihei at the quiet northern end of beautiful Halama Street, this family-owned and operated vacation rental offers the perfect balance of convenience and relaxation. Tucked away from the large resorts and busy tourist areas, guests can enjoy a peaceful, local-style setting while still being centrally located. Within minutes, you’ll find banks, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, medical clinics, the post office, and many other everyday conveniences.
Apartment Description:
This oceanfront apartment features two bedrooms and one bathroom, offering a comfortable and relaxing beachfront getaway. The apartment includes a full kitchen, bathroom, and a living room with a sofa sleeper pullout for additional sleeping accommodations.
Located on the lower level, the apartment has its own private entrance and a covered porch equipped with a gas grill, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. After enjoying Maui’s beautiful sunsets just steps from the ocean, unwind with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning before falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nearby waves.
Outdoor Amenities:
Guests who enjoy the outdoors will appreciate the beach chairs positioned for beautiful sunset views, along with lounge chairs perfect for sunbathing and relaxation. The property also features a volleyball net and several picnic tables for outdoor dining and recreation.
Stretching approximately 75 feet from the building to the shoreline, the spacious, well-maintained lawn is lined with palm trees and offers plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the oceanfront setting. The beach itself is peaceful, quiet, and highly private, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing Maui getaway.
Beach & Activities:
The nearby shoreline is an ideal spot for watching Hawaiian sea turtles as they come ashore to rest on the sand. The area also offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, wind and kite surfing, pole fishing, shell collecting, and more. During whale season, guests may even catch glimpses of whales passing offshore.
Ocean and beach equipment can be rented from the many nearby shops in town. While we do not provide beach gear, guests do have access to coolers, lawn chairs, BBQ facilities, and beach towels for added convenience during their stay.

Mike was great. This was our first stay Iin Maui and this place made our stay. The weather wasn’t the greatest but you could sit right outside and watch the whales and turtles. Thanks Mike for a great day in Maui.

This place was a lovely piece of heaven. The back yard was a large, beautifully manicured lawn that ended in a large, quiet beach. It was a wonderful experience to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. The house is supplied with numerous lawn chairs and everything else you need to enjoy the water and the outdoors (for children and adults). We had an opportunity to speak with Michael, the owner, and he is very welcoming and responsive and really cares about every one of his visitors (including his first from Chicago!), taking care to make their stay memorable. He also has great advice about places to go and things to do. The property's location allowed for easy access to various excursions, including snorkeling, whale watching, and turtle sightings. It is also close to numerous supermarkets and restaurants (traditional and truck-based). I highly recommend it.

The unit was as represented, and you can't beat the proximity to the beach! We loved that we could walk out the back and have this great big yard to play in, and then straight out to the beach. There is a lot of freedom with having no road between the unit and the beach. It was great to have chairs and other ocean related items available so we didn't have to buy or rent anything. Mike was a welcoming host and the space was great.

Michael was an amazing host! He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This is our home away from home and we will definitely reach out to Michael the next time we visit Kihei. This house was clean with all of the necessities you could possibly need. This is a quite private location tucked away but still so close to shops and restaurants.
