Taking the whole family on a ski trip? This wonderful getaway is near both Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain, features a gorgeous full kitchen, and comes with access to community amenities like year-round pools. Cozy up by the fireplace with a book, or watch cable or a DVD. If you're feeling peckish, head into the gourmet-style kitchen and indulge yourself by cooking something elaborate while you listen to music on the stereo. With beautiful wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is the perfect playground for your group's chef. With a coffeemaker and dishwasher, you'll be energized and done with cleanup in no time! Please note, the loft is on the third floor up a spiral staircase off of the second bedroom and features a queen bed and a twin bed. This room is interconnected and you must walk through the bedroom to exit/enter the upper loft sleeping room. A large deck provides a lovely spot for barbecues and to enjoy food on nice days. Relax outside with the wind in the trees and watch the kids play.

Making it to the slopes is easy from this unit! Dollar Mountain, which mainly caters to beginners, is within walking distance, and there's a free bus that will take you to Bald Mountain, where more advanced skiers will find plenty to challenge them. Skiing isn't all that this area is known for, though! Plenty of people come for the wonderful fly fishing, hikes, or rafting. There's plenty to do in town, as well. Take a lesson in ice skating year-round at the Sun Valley Skating Center, then attend one of their ice shows! Bundle up and go for a sleigh ride in the hills. The local food is excellent - check out Konditorei for hot chocolates and pastries that are out of this world, or have a nice dinner at Averell's and enjoy the best view for miles around.

Great location if you want to walk up to the Sun Valley village or into Ketchum. Quick access to the SV pool, tennis courts, or paddle boats on the lake. We didn't experience any loud neighbors and the deck area is shaded for spending time outside (especially in the mornings or after it cools off a bit in the evening). Plenty of space for the four of us to spread out (even with two teenagers) and still hangout as a family in the evenings. Kitchen is stocked and ready for use if you want to have meals in. Unit was clean, plenty of bathrooms, and stays cool throughout the day even in late July. Would stay here again and bring a roku stick or some DVDs, even though there's cable TV available.

Nice clean place. Very central. We had a great trip. Some confusion about how to use the pool and tennis courts since it was not clear that one must go to the recreation center to get the passes. Vacasa did not know anything. We learned that the pool is included with the passes (and it is very nice), but the tennis/pickleball costs 65 for a court rack rental fee. We aim to return. It was a great holiday destination!!

The home was clean, comfortable and in a beautiful area of Sun Valley. We found it slightly misleading that the pool was offsite and at the resort. It’s an amazing pool but you had to get your car to drive to it which made it extra challenging with little kids. We also experiencing very loud neighbors late into the night which was very unpleasant. Otherwise the home and the stay was nice.
