About this house rental
Very cute and updated 1930’s cottage tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cottage has a full bath (double stalled shower), living room, full kitchen, and 1 bedroom with new queen size bed. Cottage has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.
This cottage was originally built as a Carriage House in the 30's. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.
Free parking, outdoor space, BBQ, fir-pit and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, 4 Lanterns, Tooth & Nail, Venteux, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.
Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have ranch dogs, barn cats, horses and cattle (parts of the year).

We recently stayed at the Coach Carriage Cottage property — a hidden lovely gem! The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing setting for our stay. It’s location offered convenient access to many local wineries, restaurants, and nearby attractions while still providing a peaceful and private atmosphere.The home was thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. The outdoor area were particularly enjoyable, offering a pleasant space to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of the nearby vineyards. Great communication and check-in were straightforward, which helped make our arrival and departure process seamless.Overall impression: the property provided an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, and charm. It was a great homebase for exploring the Templeton and Paso Robles area, and we would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you, Staci, for sharing your property with us!!

Very cute and cozy. the carport in the pictures is not for your use. It's for the adjacent Farmhouse. You don't find that out until you book the property and get instructed to park in the gravel parking, in front of the cottage. We had people squeeze into our parking spot a couple times so close we couldn't open our car door. It took away the privacy feel. On our last night the same car did it again at 10pm and their headlights lit up the whole cottage, I was already in bed and didn't want to get dressed and go out and tell them to move. At 4am, I was awakened by people getting in their car in the carport, opening and closing doors, then starting car. The carport sits right next to our bedroom. I am not sure if they were told they could park there. Other than that, the place is great.

Beautiful location, view is almost storybook. Cottage is clean and great for a single or couple traveling. It's rustic, maybe a bit more worn than the photos suggest and there's a touch of road noise. We were joined by the friendliest cat I've ever met. Almost made me a cat person :) No problems, check in easy even at night.
