Whether you`re in town for business or pleasure, our spacious suite can comfortably accommodate you and your guests. With a full stainless steel kitchen, luxurious whirlpool tub, free Wi-Fi, and a gorgeous waterfront deck, BayouChateau has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Our location right on the bayou, with covered parking and outdoor grill facilities, makes it a perfect choice for fishing enthusiasts and boat owners. Plus, we`re just a short walk away from downtown activities, including bars, restaurants, boutiques, museums, and more. #feedyoursoul
When you book BayouChateau, you get the entire house to yourself, including the deck and covered parking space for two vehicles (guests can park free at Bouligny Plaza). Our guests love the unique location of our property, tucked away on the bayou and just one block from Main Street. You won`t find anything like it in the area. And with no other guests the share space with, you`ll have complete privacy and a more affordable alternative to a hotel. Multiple night stays offer the best value, but one-night bookings are also welcome. Please note that the cleaning fee is the same regardless of the length of your stay.
We like to meet our guests upon arrival to answer any questions they may have about the area. We`re also available by phone 24/7, and although we do not reside on the property, you can count on us for any assistance you might need.
Location is everything, and BayouChateau has the best spot in town. As the heart of downtown New Iberia, there`s always something happening here, from festivals and events to charming shops, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. It`s all just a few minutes away on foot, and your guests can park for free at the nearby Bouligny Plaza. Other major attractions are just a short 15-minute drive away, and Uber and taxi services are available. We had a delightful stay in New Iberia at The Bayou Chateau (our pup agreed). Clean, comfy and a beautiful location on the bayou. Mickey and Tiffany are most personable and thoughtful hosts. We couldn't ask for more.

Perfect location, perfect property. Good communication with the host and catered to our arrival schedule. Thank you! ~~ The house was placed with the Bayou in the backyard and the downtown area right outside the front door. It had perfect access to all the downtown shops and dining spots. I absolutely loved the chateau and the city! The house was well accommodating with many different items in case you forgot to pack some. We want to come back again one day for a longer stay.!

We had an amazing stay Bayou Chateaux and can’t wait to go back! It is exactly as beautiful as it is in the pictures in the listing. We loved exploring all of the little decorative touches, right down to the Mardi Gras beads that hold the deck gate closed perfectly. The space is small but is extremely well laid out, we could easily live in that space no problem. The kitchen is fantastic and even has a full size gas stove , a great coffee set up and gorgeous concrete counters. We loved having access to a W/D as well as it feels good to be going home from a trip without a ton of dirty clothes. We had the pleasure of meeting Mickey in person as he was gracious enough to zoom over with a corkscrew when we couldn’t locate the one that was there. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck area and also having covered parking. Our doggie loved it SO MUCH, we have never seen him so relaxed in a home away from home. The vibe there is just simply that perfect. . We will be back!
