Chateau Royale, Pet Friendly, On Bayou, Downtown!

We loved our stay at the Chateau Royale on the Bayou! The place had everything you need to make you feel at home. The home itself is charming with lots of thoughtful details and fun all around. I stayed with a teen and tween and they wanted to stay longer. My 16 year old love the “tree house” loft style room as It’s a cool little nook to hang out for the kids. The nice open kitchen and living room was a great place to cook and spend time all together. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio facing the bayou. It was great location to walk to many restaurants and shop a few little stores around the corner. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the hosts and they were easy to communicate with and very prompt! Highly recommend!

The comfort of the facilities

I requested on April 30 that my stay be reduced by 1 day because I had to move to MSY airport (3 hours drive), I did not hear back until 1 week later that I did not like because there was no attention from the owner I spoke to him several times. Finally a day before, he tried to make the change and could not do it and I could not do it either I asked Booking for the change and they told me they would ask the owner and finally I left 1 day before. I am not happy about this situation, I will be charged for a day I was not there. Another thing that happened to me, when I parked my car on the 15th, I noticed some boards on the floor, obstructed in the parking lot, I had to make several maneuvers to be able to park it properly. While it is true that they are offering a service they should always ensure that the quality and attention is unbeatable, it is the first time that happens to me in booking. Honestly I had the alternative of staying in a Holiday and yet I changed it for this location, bad decision.

Wonderful place and great hosts

Appartement très bien décoré et confortable. Belle terrasse sur le bayou. Mickey est un hote très sympathique.
