Our traditional 3 bedroom brick house is Located in the beautiful and historic Old Mount Pleasant, which is a residential area. You will be 0.3 miles to the Charleston Harbor, Alhambra Hall, The Shops of Historic Mt. Pleasant Downtown. You will also be 0.5 miles from The Pitt St. Bridge where you can fish, drop your Kayaks and or Canoe in the water or just enjoy the beautiful Scenery and Wild Life. You will have a short walk to the many restaurants on Shem Creek. You will be 3 Miles from Sullivan's Island Beaches and 6 miles to Charleston. I have just updated my house including New Furniture, Appliances and Kitchen. No Pets Allowed.

This is our 2nd time staying here with our friends and it was great. The house is clean, well stocked, and in a beautiful neighborhood convenient to everything. The host, Jamey, is always prompt with communicating and tells us everything we need to know before arriving. Super easy check-in and check-out process. Perfect for a weekend getaway for our group or a beach week for a family. Highly recommend!

We came down to drop our son off at The Citadel. The property is in a very lovely neighborhood! The home is absolutely adorable! Beds were comfy too! Will definitely put this home on our list of favorites for future weekends to Charleston.

The accommodations were lovely! We had plenty of towels, the beds were so comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. One bathroom made it a little challenging at times, but we managed. The home was very convenient for us visiting with family only a half mile away. We enjoyed our stay in Mt. Pleasant!

The location was great, loved the AC, and owner was very responsive. We wished there was more seating indoors and out. Twin bed frames were very squeaky and so were floors outside bedrooms. Bathroom was tight for 6 people to use/store stuff, and it would have been nice to have more outdoor amenities (hammocks, lounge chairs, games, etc.)

Sweet little house in a beautiful walking neighborhood. We enjoyed exploring and finding the secret treasures of Old Village. The homeowner was super responsive and hospitable. Our favorite was sitting in the backyard and watching folks play fetch with their dogs in the park behind the house :)

This house was the perfect location for my sisters quick weekend to SC! Quiet neighborhood, cozy home and close to great restaurants. The beds we’re comfortable and the home was well maintained and clean. We would certainly stay here again!

I was not overly impressed, esp. compared to previous reviews Some of the cookware was dirty. Kitchen utensils were old, as though they were the owners old ones, bathroom sink sang to us when we turned it on, etc. On a positive note, the living room and dining room were very comfortable.

I have never been to the Charleston area so was completely lost as I tried to figure out where to book our family for annual vacation. I landed on James' property and could not have asked for a better location! Easy access to Charleston, the beaches at Sullivan's Island were so close, easy to find parking and not crowded at all, We also enjoyed Sullivan's Island and Shem Creek restaurants, walking the boardwalk at Shem Creek Park and sunsets at Pitt St. Bridge. Our family was able to cook dinner several nights and the accommodations were comfy, clean and updated even though the home is older. I had booked the property back in early spring and we had a schedule change to contend with a few months before travel and James was extremely accommodating in adjusting our dates and went above and beyond to help us get as many days as possible out of our stay. Very cute and walkable neighborhood with plenty of coffee shops, groceries, restaurants in the area. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We were in town for a baseball tourney at The Shipyard. We were in need of a vacation rental because all hotels were already booked and the condos we found were outrageously priced. This rental was perfect!! It had all the essentials (bath towels, bedding, full kitchen, washer/dryer) that was needed for our stay. The 3 bedroom allowed us all to have our own space, but living room and kitchen big enough for us to gather. The house was less than a mile walk to restraints, boardwalk, and parks. It was able 10-15 minutes to Isle of Palms for a beach and about 25-30 to The Shipyard. It is also about 5-15 minutes from an Aldi or Target so shop online on your drive and pick up your goodies before going to the house. It was such a time saver!! The owner was quick to respond to emails. I would definitely rent again if headed to that area!

Neighborhood was family friendly. Inside of house is old but was cute and clean.bee enjoyed our stay. If I may leave a suggestion, it would be helpful for guests not familiar with the area to maybe have some menus of places to eat in the area, pamphlets of local things to do etc.

We enjoyed our stay in Mount Pleasant, a quiet and friendly residential suburb with close proximity to Charleston and beaches. My friends and I (early 20s) stayed here for a weekend in August 2021. It looked exactly like the listing photos and was impeccably clean, which was the most important thing for us when deciding where to stay. There were enough bath towels (and hot water) for the 6 of us and the wi-fi and AC worked well. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, across from a park and not too far from a popular little take-out breakfast place and a bunch of restaurants/bars on the creek. You could even walk there if need be. It's only around a 15 minute drive to downtown Charleston. James was a great host, replying fast and providing detailed check-in and check-out instructions. Thank you for the perfect stay!
