About this house rental

Escape to our beautiful 5 bedroom/4 bath home right on Ole River in Perdido Key, FL. This home has amazing views with plenty of decks to watch the sunset. Our home is a non smoking home!! You can fish from our backyard or the pass to the gulf is just minutes away. There are several of places to rent a boat for the day. The beach is only a few minutes walk, just across the street through Florabama or you can take a short drive to one of the public beaches. The Florabama Yacht Club is right next door, great food with live music most nights. This house is big enough for 2 families, it sleeps 10-12 people. There is a nice outside patio for grilling or you could have a low country boil. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The sunsets are amazing!
We are a small and quiet neighborhood so we do not rent to college spring breakers or bachelor parties, families only. At this time we cannot offer any boat slips .

We had a great time! My daughter, her husband along w their 3 young sons plus my other 2 daughters and their boyfriends stayed in the house with my husband and I and we had plenty of room. My grandsons loved playing at the little beach in the backyard almost more than the ‘big’ beach across the street. The guys enjoyed fishing from the dock, my son in law fished everyday although he didn’t catch anything. We all sat out on the deck of the house to eat dinner and listened to live music drift over from Flora Bama while watching the boats and jet skis go up and down the river. The sunsets are amazing from the back of the house and we also saw dolphins out in the water! I loved this home and it’s location, my family told me at different times how much they loved it as well. I am so thankful and appreciative of April and her family for renting this home out. We have some great family memories from this vacation that I’ll treasure forever!

We had the best time at this property with our family and friends. Being close to a few restaurants and the boat rental place meant fewer trips in our car. The beach was gorgeous and never busy where we were at. We loved being directly on the bay and spent a lot of nights fishing and checking our crab traps in the morning. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We had a large family group and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked very well for us. We couldn't ask for a better location - the property has an area right at the back of the house where you can swim or kayak with the kayaks they provided. We were across the street and a short walk to a public beach access. The property owner was very responsive to any questions or requests we had. Great place to stay!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. There were 11 of us ranging in age from 18-76. The accommodations were comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We just loved being on the water. We went kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing…. This was such a relaxing place to hang out. The location is great—the beach is just a short walk away, it is walking distance to FloraBama and boat rentals. Short drive to a variety of shopping venues and attractions. We loved it!!

My family and my sister's family stayed for a week. There were 10 adults, a three year-old and a 6 month old. There was plenty of room for all of us. The bed in the master was so comfortable!! The house has everything you need from kitchen wear to fishing poles. My husband and brother-in-law loved walking next door to the FloraBama Yacht Club for a cold beverage and a snack. My very favorite thing was enjoying a glass of wine while watching the beautiful sunset every night. We took our paddle boards and were able to leave right from the back door into the Old River. April was very responsive to questions. My only negative is that the beach access that had previously been available to guests had been taken away so we had to walk down the road just a bit and go to the beach on an unofficial and slightly rough trail. Lots of sand spurs in feet and it was difficult to transport a three year old and all of the beach equipment. April did make us aware of this before we went. This is just something to consider if you like easy beach access.

The home was perfect with plenty of room for the 10 of us. The dock was a great place to fish as well as sitting out some crab traps. The beach area was also enjoyed some by the family. Ole River grill is a easy walk around the fence along the shoreline and great food and drinks. I would suggest if your going to try and go out to eat with a large group as we did 1 or 2 nights that you go onto opentable a couple weeks before you go and make reservations if during peak times. Hope to be able to enjoy the home again soon.

We had an incredible vacation in this beautiful home. The sunsets from the rear deck are amazing. The best part of the day is going on the dock early in the morning drinking coffe on the swing. The kitchen is fully stocked and plenty of seating for a large family. There is also plenty of seating in the family room! Access to the beach is a breeze, also. We will definitely be returning!

Our family had a wonderful time & cant wait to go back! This house was perfect for getting together for a fun & relaxing week. Perfect location with private dock & swim area or quick walk to the beach. We had kids from 7-18 & everyone enjoyed themselves. Easy access to restaurants & boat/jet ski rentals. Owners were quick to answer questions & very helpful. Nights on the porch were good for the soul...thanks for a perfect vacay!

What a great location! We had access to a little ocean right out the back door, Perfect for the kids. The adults even took a morning ride in the kayak. The views where beautiful from the back porch and the beach is right across the street. Perdido Keys was the perfect location as it was not as congested as the other beach destinations. The house was clean and provided any and everything we might have needed for a relaxing vacation. We can’t wait to book this house again next year! Highly recommended!

Jack & April really out a lot of thought into this place. The kitchen had everything we needed including a blender, toaster and electric griddle. I always bring my own knives, cutting board and extra large sheet pans and didn’t need to use them this time. There were 2 or 3 nice size cutting boards & a variety of sheet pans. We were told on arrival that the ice maker was out of service. This extra ice maker was out of service by the one in the refrigerator/freezer was in working order. We didn’t miss the other ice maker. All the bedrooms are nicely furnished and decorated. The linens were very nice. They even have 2 nice soft quilts in the living room should anyone decide to nap on the couch or need a spare in the bedroom. WiFi wasn’t working; however, we were given fair notice of this and were able to use our hotspots. We watched movies on Netflix and never had an issue with the WiFi being out. They were having this worked on so rest assured this is a short term challenge. The downstairs patio is perfect!! Although we never used the grill they have it set up so you can spend time in the water and be grilling at the same time. The upstairs patios are awesome! I spent every morning sitting on the main floor patio having coffee and watching the sunrise. Beautiful!! I’ve covered just about everything in the house but let’s not forget to mention the kayaks. Yes, they have 2 kayaks for use with their property. We very much enjoyed using these. Very relaxing as you can go where you want at your own pace. Now for those that like a little night life, the Florabama Yacht Club (restaurant) is next door one house down. You can hear the band at the house while sitting on the deck which I thought was fabulous. Just across the street is the Florabama Lounge & Oyster House. They have an indoor band every night and are open until 2:30am. They also have free bingo Mon-Fri which was a lot of fun. There is also a Waffle House & The Ole River Grill and a liquor store all right there. Trust me, you don’t even realize all of that is right there unless you walk out of the neighborhood and go to one of these locations. Another great vacation down in the books!! We already have other family members wanting to come with us next year!! We will definitely be back to this exact house! It’s just perfect!!!

We had 12 people with us(7 adults, 5 children) and there was plenty of room for all of us. Sit on the back deck in the morning and watch some dolphins then take a 5 minute walk to beach. The Flora-Bama bar and yacht club are next to you so that’s nice to be able to go to for a quick night out. Also the Yacht Club had some live music and you can listen on the back deck. Also if you don’t want to go to the beach your kids can swim in the backyard. Kids swam everyday while we grilled food. House is clean, furnished for your needs and April is fantastic to work with. If we had an issue someone was there the next day to help us out. Plenty of shopping/eating within 20 minutes. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Persido Key. The location is fantastic situated right between Gulf Shores and Pensacola. April’s home was beautiful and a perfect location. The river was right behind the house with a small beach we could use for swimming, paddle boarding or just enjoying the view. We saw dolphins several times and even swam with them when they were checking us out while we were paddle boarding. To see a wild dolphin up close like that was amazing! Directly across the road is beach access and we were pleasantly surprised it was not overly crowded any of the days we went. The house itself is quite spacious with room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need during your stay. I spoke with April several times and she’s wonderful to work with. You won’t be disappointed renting her home.

Great property located on Ole River. It has it’s own private beach which was great for swimming. The house is very clean, and comfortable. Great views off of all three decks. It accommodated 13 of us with no problem. The only issue was parking more than 4-5 cars.

There is a bay behind the house to swim in if you didn't feel like going across the street to the ocean. Urgent care, shopping for souvenirs, Publix, walmart, & etc is a short drive away. The house had plenty of room for everyone to spread put and not feel like we were on top of each other. We had a great time!
