The rooftop and patio add an entirely unique experience to your stay—sunsets, ocean air, and a peaceful elevated retreat.
ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
This 600 sq ft ground‑level 1‑BR / 1‑BA (sleeps 4 (two would be on the pull out) apartment is simple and affordable. It features:
* Private entry from the side patio
* Renovated kitchen
* Semi‑private creekside back patio (too be remodeled)
* Skylight in the living room
* HD‑TV & high‑speed internet
* Queen bed
* Queen sofa‑sleeper (very comfortable for kids or a second couple - I hope you like Blue :-/ (soon to be replaced).

* Very close to the Amtrak Station

Jeff is an incredible host and this property was exactly what my husband and I were looking for.#1. Location location location. Walking distance to everything. Coffee, the pier, restaurant galore, wine tasting, bike rental, museums. This is the 1 bed 1 bath place.#2. The property. That bed is so comfy, great job Jeff. It has that authenticity of old meets new. Yes, the shower is small but the bath had everything one needs. Forget your blowdryer ladies. #3. It’s a great value, if you can look past the minor issues of the 1 person at a time in the shower, the rooftop not with the furniture as shown but still a great place to enjoy morning coffee, and the older couch. Trust me 10 out of 10 choice of gorgeous.

Jeff is an attentive host with quick response time to questions. The neighborhood is gorgeous! We felt safe and were a block away from the beach, shopping, Stearn wharf, and endless yummy food and bars. The accommodations are cozy, clean, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We didn’t hear people in the other units which made feel very private. A perfect place to enjoy the chill vibe of SB and be close to everything fun when you want it.

If you’re looking for a location near the Funk Zone and beach, this property will work great! Walkable to everything! We were in town for a family emergency. Jeff was more than accommodating and we were so appreciative. The apartment is a little funky and cute but small, but honestly big enough for my husband and me. The neighborhood is amazing! We were even able to cook two meals for my daughter and her significant other. We appreciated the pots and pans, bowls and serving utensils and there were plenty of plates. The bed is very comfortable and actually, the bedroom was big enough for us! The apartment is a little dated but Jeff is in the middle of updating it so understand this. With that said, the apartment works just fine as is. Jeff is a responsive and caring host. It’s a great property and we would consider staying again. I’m also a premier host for VRBO and am pretty picky. Thumbs up for Jeff and his property. Thanks so much, Jeff!

It was a quaint little rental and was very clean.
However, we wish the listing would have mentioned the age of the home and the fact that there is no A/C and that everyone here just opens their windows to cool the interior. We happened to come during a heat wave and were very hot our entire stay. I also have a very real fear of spiders so opening the windows without screens was not an option for me.
The shower head was not working properly and needs replaced. The shower itself was so small that it could benefit from a removable showerhead to make it easier to bathe.
Otherwise beautiful area and close to the beach and the owners were very friendly.
