About this house rental

Hale O Ke Akamai is Hawaiian for "House of Art" which is evident when stepping inside. Be sure to view video located at the end of photos (slide #3). Private single-level 4 bedroom home with AC provides the Aloha spirit in the beautiful and tranquil setting of Kiahuna Golf Village designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. one of the most prestigious resort living on the South Shore and just minutes away from Poipu's beaches and restaurants. All guests have free access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club (https://poipuclub.com) which is walking distance from house. The home has a spacious and open layout with the perfect indoor-outdoor living with a HEATED new pool, new outdoor grille and eating area in the private courtyard. A generous sized king master bedroom suite with A/C and access to the pool and courtyard provides many comforts with attached on-suite bathroom with walk in shower and separate tub, and a custom built walk-in closet with private safe. 3 separate bedrooms all with AC located on separate wing of house. One bedroom has 2 twin beds while one bedroom has king bed and other has queen. Cathedral style high ceilings with new ceiling fans provide a very open natural feel to the living room and dining room. Spacious kitchen with custom cabinets, designer countertops, stainless steel appliances and Keurig coffee maker with variety of coffees. Kitchen has eating area in addition to main dining area and also has access to the pool and courtyard. Home has been completely redecorated with new furnishings with elegant design. Beauty spa products provided in each bathroom: Shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, body lotion and bar soap. Each bedroom has a TV w/cable access and offers wireless Internet service. We provide beach gear including coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels.

We had never been to Kauai before and I spent a lot of time trying to pick the right location for us. We were so thrilled with the Poipu area and the home itself. The kitchen and dining area were so lovely and the living room was great for relaxing after long adventurous days. The pool was the big hit with the kids of course. Hosts were responsive and everything was spelled out nicely ahead of time. Good beach supplies and ample towels. We hope to return very soon. Thank you Kristi and Mark!

We stayed for a week in this well-equipped vacation home. We have 4 adult children and the kids had their own wing with the master bedroom on the other side of the house. The pool is amazing and the garage has everything you need for the beach. The location by Koloa and Poipu with the food trucks and restaurants/pharmacy/coffe shops is perfect. We loved Shipwreck beach and did a Luau at the Grand Hyatt. I also recommend Captain Andy's raft tour of the Na Pali Coast. We didn't use the AC but it works great if you need it. The weather was sunny and 80 every day in November. The owners and property manager are easy to work with and very responsive. They provided laundry detergent, toilet paper/paper towel, dishwasher detergent, and more for the week. Tons of beach towels too. They also included an athletic club membership that is at the end of the road. I was highly impressed with this vacation home and am recommending it to my friends. Thanks for a wonderful vacation stay!

We had an amazing stay at this vacation home in Kauai! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The photos honestly don’t do it justice – the home is even more beautiful and updated in person. Everything was in perfect condition, and unlike many other vacation rentals we've stayed in, this house was impeccably clean. Even the grill was spotless! The cleaning team did an outstanding job, and the home was free of dust, floor was squeaky clean, which is rare. The peaceful and beautiful neighborhood made it a perfect getaway, and we loved having access to beach accessories and pool toys. We can't wait to return to this incredible rental!

We love staying in this lovely home. This is our 4th year returning. We love the comfortable family friendly accommodations, the pool, the easy communication with the property owner and property manager. This year we also enjoyed the perk of the poipu beach athletic club. The kids loved the water slides and the adults enjoyed the gym amenities. Great stay! Highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful home, perfect for a large family or two. Private, clean and includes all the amenities. Headed pool and AC in each room is a nice treat. Owners are quick to respond and helpful! Only suggestion that would be a huge bonus would be a fridge in garage for drinks. When staying for a week and shopping at Costco the fridge gets small quick.

The pool is a perfect size and the backyard is landscaped beautifully. Close to very nice restaurants and the Aloha shuttle can pick you up and bring you home.

We were seven adults with 2 children under 1 year old. Every one enjoyed this house. We cooked a lot and we found the kitchen well equipped. The beach equipment were greatly appreciated including beach towels. I highly recommend this house.

As you walk through the front door you instantly feel at home. Marc and Kristi have made this home a well equipped and beautiful touch of paradise. The heated pool is as well used by my grandsons and the four year old even learned how to swim during our trip. Hopefully we didn’t bother the neighbors with our 7 am swim the first day. The fact you can use the Poipu athletic club is such a bonus. It’s a wonderful place to spend the day with your grandkids, They have great food and drinks, pingpong, corn hole, a water slide, kiddie pool and a huge outdoor gym! This was our second family trip to this exact area in two years as our family just loves it. We hope to return again.

My family of 7 have stayed at Milo Hae for the last 6 years. The house looks exactly like it did 6 years ago. It always looks freshly painted and is spotless inside and out. The layout is ideal with a U shape home. Master is off the living room area, other master is down a long hall far from the living area. 2 more bedrooms down the long hallway. The living/dining/ kitchen area is open, large and very family oriented. The lighting is beautiful and the paintings are unique and very Hawaiian. The backyard has a perfect sized pool, BBQ area and the landscaping is perfection. Close to great restaurants, we use the Aloha Spirit shuttle to get to and from, so convenient!

We all were very amazed by our first impressions of the house. The location was very nice and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay more than we thought. The master suite was really nice and we loved the layout. We very much enjoyed the pool and our daughter just wanted to swim every chance she could. We (4 adults and 4 pre-teens) stayed at this rental property for a week in Oct-2023. We loved everything about this house! It's perfectly set up with a heated pool, AC in each room, fully equipped and upgraded (roomy) kitchen while being situated right next to the immaculate Kiahuna Golf course. We enjoyed our majestic early morning walks to Poipu beach (~30 min walk away). The community is about 10 min drive from Koloa Town Center (shopping, restaurants, groceries). The owners were kind to let us use their full beach gear (snorkel, chairs, umbrella, etc.) Highly recommend this property.

As always we had a wonderful time at this wonderful rental. This is our 3rd time renting this property. We love the pool, the beautiful property, and the modern amenities. We had kids ranging from age 1-9 and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was so nice to have access to a pack and play and high chair as well. After staying here so many times I have run out of things to say. I will say that this home looks exactly like the photos. It is as fresh and new looking as it did the first time we stayed. We stayed a month and only left to get food. The backyard is perfect for everyone, the landscaping is so beautiful! We spent a lot of time in the pool or sitting under the gazebo reading or playing on iPads. We will be back in December!!

Wow-this is the most enjoyable, well supplied rental I have ever stayed at! Beds-comfy, garage to park in, plenty of seating indoor and out! There were lawn chairs, hard and soft coolers, snorkel gear, kids swim floaties, gas BBQ, tons of dishes, silverware, three or more hair dryers (which for folks with long hair all getting ready at once was great!). sofa was super comfy tons of doors to the stunning backyard. LOVED the private pool so much and it was so close to the beach you could walk if you wanted. Kristi was so helpful ans responded to questions quickly. I would come again in a heart beat. My whole family loved this place!

This house was perfect for our two families. Clean, modern & comfortable! We loved the space we all had, the AC units in every room & heated pool. We were grateful to have nice chairs, umbrellas, cooler, sand toys etc. to take to the beach. Only one tiny negative {if you want to call it that}, it would be nice to have an extra fridge in garage for drinks and ice. I only say that because we had it at another home we stayed at in the past and it was extremely helpful. Mark & Kristi were super easy to book with and sent us a greeting email upon arrival. Felt like they truly cared about our experience in their beautiful home. We would give more than five stars if possible!

Our stay at the Williamson home was spectacular! Clean, spacious, beautifully furnished, and every detail considered to make her stay comfortable and convenient. We have stayed at this beautiful home many times. It is always clean, comfortable and very well maintained. It always looks like it was just remodeled. It is perfect for many family generations as the bedrooms are far from each other for privacy & quiet. Everything is top of the line from the BBQ to the paintings on the walls. The pool is perfect size and warm. We stayed a month and absolutely no problems at all! We have stayed here 11 times and will be back again soon!
