About this house rental
This home sits on a very private point lot with 700 feet of water frontage. It was designed for multiple families with kids. The view is absolutely spectacular with water on 3 sides and views from almost every room in the house. It is roughly 3,000 square feet and has a additional 2,100 square feet of balconies and decks. There are two great rooms, one for the adults and a second for the kids. The upstairs has 20' vaulted ceilings throughout. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a Keurig Coffee machine. The huge, custom built square table seats 12 for family meals and two additional bar top chairs are at the kitchen counter top. For outdoor cooking, there is a large, high end, gas grill and a wood burning smoker.
There are two masters with one upstairs and the second down. The third and fourth bedrooms are downstairs. The game room includes a pool table, ping pong, foosball table, games and puzzles. We have a flat screen tv on the main level with Directv as well as two tv's on the bottom level, one in the master downstairs and one in the main room. We just installed a new "Starlink" wireless service with over 100M access speed, if you need to connect your laptop.

Nearest Marina/boat launch: About 5-10 minutes by road and less than 5 minutes by water
Water Level: Very deep.
The outside balconies and decks wrap three sides of the house. The lighted walkway leads down to the enormous three slip boat house and swim platform. The water slide is connected to city water for hours of fun in the lake. A deck box is available with life preservers for all sizes. There are plenty of chairs and chaise lounges by the house that can be brought down to the dock to use. Pontoon boat rentals are made through Duskin Point Marina. You are also welcome to bring your own boat.
The boat house includes 1 open slip for 1 boat and additional side docking for 3-4 more.
Smith Lake is rated as the third cleanest lake in the country. You must see it to believe it. There are 500 miles of shoreline with over 21,200 acres of water. There is fantastic swimming, fishing, boating and skiing. Much of the lake is in the Bankhead National Forest with miles of undisturbed wooded shores and spectacular views.
We are located very close to the Smith Lake dam and is also near Duskin Point Marina (great for refueling and a quick snack). It is 55 minutes from Birmingham, 2 hours from Nashville and 4 hours from Memphis.

Beautiful and well equipped house! The kitchen was well stocked with high end gadgets. There was wood provided for the wood burning fireplace and fire pit. It was perfect for a multi generational family Thanksgiving with two dogs!

Property is beautiful with lots of windows for viewing the lake. Plenty of room for gathering or for finding a quiet space. Kitchen has everything needed and room for cooking together. Second year to rent this property and hope to rent again.

Our stay was amazing! The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. The house was comfy and had enough room for our family. We loved the boat dock and slide. Host was pleasant tho we had no issues. We would stay again for sure! We stayed during a bass tournament so we got to see so many boats cruising around.

Fabulous views, huge great room and dining table, super fun game room with foosball, pool, ping-pong, checkers/chess table, and much more! The dock was massive - lots of room to dock our jetski and rented pontoon boat. The location was wonderful - off the main part of the lake to reduce traffic, but close to Dustin Point Marina (pontoon boat rental) and The Lost Cove (jetski launch). The owners are super responsive to all inquires and text message. We can't wait to go back next year!
