Property was wonderful and was in a great location. More than enough space for us and the 2 car attached garage in the winter was an added bonus since we were there in the winter. The two fireplaces helped create a very warm and holiday atmosphere. When we arrived there were some festive holiday decorations which was quite unexpected and appreciated! Overall a beautiful home and we would definitely stay there again!

The house was exactly as described, yet actually better in person. This is a wonderfully spacious and lovely furnished property in an excellent neighborhood. It is very convenient to everything the area has to offer, including walking or biking to the beach, or day excursions to the beautiful lakeshore towns on Michigan’s west coast.. The well stocked kitchen made this home chef happy and there is room for the whole family to gather for meals. This is a house that lives large, even if all the bedrooms were full; and the host has provided thoughtful activities for rainy days. I have just returned from a month long retreat at this wonderful property. I never once missed my personal home, and I was actually sad to have to leave. The host responded immediately to questions and made me feel like family. I will definitely make this home my first choice for future stays in this region of Lake Michigan. The house and the host have set a high bar for my future rentals..

My Wife and we’re in dire need to disconnect from the day to days stressors over the past several years and getaway. This home and area around it was the much needed answer to our desire. It is in a relatively new neighborhood ,is in perfect condition and shows even better than the pictures. It has all the amenities anyone would need to experience a fun, relaxing stay. Even though it was just the two of us, the house can accommodate even a large family. It is impeccably maintained. Our stay was a week at the end of September to early October and it was a little chilly weather, perfect fireplace weather to take the chill out of the air and add a little more ambience. The house has two fireplaces, a gas one on the first floor and an electric in the lower lever. Upon attempting to light the gas fireplace, we encountered a problem with it and were unable to ignite it. I called Jeff, the owner and advised him of the situation. Jeff advised me that his Parents live only minutes away and assists Jeff with watching over the house and he immediately texted his Father and even included me on the text. His Father, Cal called me and advised he would come over to see if he can be of assistance. Cal came and we both attempted to figure out the problem unsuccessfully. He called a fireplace repair contractor that he knows who immediately came out and made the necessary repairs. The cause was a faulty thermocouple and once installed it worked perfectly. That kind of attention and immediate response is seldom seen. We couldn’t be happier. After that we became friends with Cal & his Wife Ann. We were even invited to go sightseeing in a very special and memorable way. What an amazing, welcoming couple. The house is closely located near restaurants, shopping, the beach, hiking trails and misc. other activities. Although all the restaurants we went to were great, our favorite was The Galleria. It is an art gallery and Italian restaurant. The food and service was so awesome, we at there three nights and had three different homemade entrees including pizza made by a chef trained in Italy. We got to know Sasha and his Wife, the owners and the rest of the staff. They were so welcoming and made us feel like family. I couldn’t be happier with our entire stay at Jeff’s house which felt like ours. We even watered the flowers and put out the garage for pick up which really made us feel that it was our home. Much thanks to Jeff for sharing his gorgeous house and Cal & Ann!
