Come relax and escape from it all in real Florida. The Ozello keys are a string of islands on Floridas nature coast that are fully accessible by car. Nestled between Homosassa Springs and Crystal River. This 2 bedroom/ 2 bath stilt home sits on a peninsula. It is fully furnished with all of the creature comforts of home including linens, dishes, spices, etc. It has a full kitchen, washer, dryer, 2 x flat screen TV's, wifi, Netflix, DVD player, grill, and covered parking. It can sleep a maximum of 7 with a queen bed in each bedroom, a full size electric air mattress, and a twin size sleeper loveseat in the master bedroom. There are 2 elevated decks outside to enjoy as well as a large fire pit down by the water to make memories at. Also included are 3 kayaks for your use as well as limited fishing equipment and tackle. Kayaks and small boats can be used from the back yard. There is not a dock and due to a low bridge most boats can not get from the gulf to the house . Boat ramp and marina is less than 1.5 miles away. Lots of things to do if you are looking for activities. Year round there is great fishing and nature watching from the back yard as well as seeing dolphin and manatees wondering through. Go down to the marina and see the area on an airboat tour. A quick trip up the road for a meal at either Backwater Fins or the historic Pecks restaurant. Maybe go explore Homosassa Springs and Crystal River, each about 10 miles away, there is always something going on. Little over an hour from Tampa or Orlando. Must be ok with friendly dogs because neighbor dogs will almost always come over to say hi. No gatherings or events over 12 people. Dogs are allowed with a fee but they cannot jump on or sleep on the furniture. This may waive your deposit. There is a small elevator but has been disconnected and cannot be used by guests for liability reasons.

Place was well cleaned upon arrival. This is our third visit here - we love the area. It’s in an off the grid type of location for Florida so yes no see-ums and other critters are out there. But I think over my time in Florida I’ve become immune to the no see-ums. Did some kayaking, fishing and enjoyed our holiday in Ozello and had some really beautiful weather. Look forward to a return trip.

Had a great stay, the house and area worked perfectly for our vacation, we were able to kayak all the beautiful springs within 2 hours of location and come back to a quiet and peaceful home.

The owner was quick to response to any issues, such as when the Netflix when off. The place is quiet and peaceful. We stayed a month, and I certainly wasn't ready to go home. We caught more fish than ever before and all kinds. They may not have been large but there was plenty. Going kayaking was heavenly, so much nature. The community of Ozello are so welcoming. Can't wait to go back. Sandy from Pa.

We had a great time to relax and get away from everything. We caught a fish after 15 minutes trying. Great area, stars at night are amazing to view. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
