Quiet and secluded feeling, even with neighbors close by. Shaded with lots of trees. Clean with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils in the kitchen, comfortable beds.

We had a great time at Brightwood Getaway! We had everything we needed and access to a fishing boat was so convenient! The inside of the trailer was clean and the beds were comfortable. The outside furniture and deck needed a lot of cleaning but the property was beautiful. Be aware that the location is pretty remote so if you're looking for a place that's close to stores or restaurants this may not be for you. Most places are about 25-30 mins away. We picked it for the peace and quiet so it was perfect for our family. Overall, a really great stay!

My review is based on what I seen and experience not what my opinion is.
Pictures online don't represent the most current property conditions (pictures look to be a couple years older).
When I got there it was just cleaned yet there where cob webs hanging from ceiling and lights. Window AC was covered with dust (AC was white but vent looked dark grey from the dirt) The screens/window seals were covered with dead bugs. A couple of the screens had holes/pulled way from the frame allowing bugs to enter if windows were open. Outside furniture was dirty, had cob webs all over them, and some of the chairs/bench swing looked to be in less than good condition. Everything outside could use a good power washing from what i seen. We did a cleaning through out the place during the 2 weeks and had to change the cleaning water 3 times.
Killed 30 spiders on the inside. in the 2 weeks we were there including in both beds (most were pencil eraser to quarter size).
The refrigerator/freezer smelled of rotting meat the first couple days when you opened the door.
Propane Grill was out of propane and grates were rusty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for awhile (did find another full propane tank in shed days later).
Both the inside & outside south door wouldn't close completely (looked to be damaged and not fixed correctly).
There were quit a few bee's along with the spiders. In fact one of us was stung while sitting outside.
Chad was very quick in his responses during booking and when arriving. unfortunately we never got to meet Chad. Got to meet Bill who was very nice and great to talk to.
Bill was very quick to help out when I needed a hacksaw to fix my boat trailer. Bill was also very knowledgeable about the area.
There are multiple electrical outlets on the outside. There is also a rubber hose and outside water if needed.
There is Antenna TV & DVD player (some DVD's mostly children's)
Plenty of room for parking
Lots of coffee cups but not much for other dishes. May want to check about dishes you may need before booking.
Not a lot of closet/dresser space in the 2 bedrooms (there is some)
No WiFI
Newer front load washer and dryer.
Soft water & good water pressure
