This historic cottage was once home to Sam Houston Johnson, brother of Lynden Baines Johnson, 36th President of the United States. Distinctly appointed with country chic furnishings, you will find a luxurious king size bed in the master bedroom and a full size bed inthe second bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need; there is a coffee maker and a microwave. This a lovely two bedroom cottage with a fully furnished kitchen that we enjoyed over an extended weekend. It’s located just off 290 and is in easy walking distance to downtown Johnson City.

Wow! Gorgeous home. Reminded me of my grandma's house. All the comforts of home; cozy. Relatively quiet for being close to 290. Perfect getaway with the hubby. Hiked Pedernales Falls, enjoyed a hotdog from Fat Boy burgers, went back to the house and listened to music on the turntable. PERFECT!!

The house is so cute and in a great location, just seemed neglected and could use some updating. The yard was not mowed, trash bins were stuffed full, could not enjoy the outdoor spaces for the overgrowth. Beds were comfortable.
