The proximity to little beach and shoal bay, the duplex being self contained with two modern bathrooms, modern kitchen, two bedrooms, and separate tv space.
Aircon to cool down on warm days with fans in bedroom.
The noise of birds in the evening and bats at night. The street appeal was low kept for the budget of accommodation

So convenient to both Nelson’s Bay and Shoal Bay by foot. Great beaches close by as well.

Location was excellent! We barely had to use the car with only a 2km walk along the beach side from the unit to the heart or Nelson Bay. The unit was a good size, beds were comfy and kitchen and bathrooms in good order.
Only a few minor things that would make the place a 10/10. Venetian shutters on the windows let in a lot of light and heat. Kettle needs replacing as plastic is burnt inside. Tiles were putrid. After 10 minutes of being there with no shoes on, our feet were black! Tried to mop the floor and found the mop was extremely dirty and old. Probably the reason why the floor was so dirty.
