Earlson Farmhouse is a beautifully restored 300-year-old luxury home nestled in the stunning Irish countryside, just 7 minutes drive from the charming village of Adare. Owned and operated by Daniel and Anne, this historic farmhouse was Daniel’s childhood home, offering guests a warm and authentic experience.

Perfectly situated for exploring the breath-taking Southwest of Ireland and the famous Wild Atlantic Way, Earlson Farmhouse is within an hour’s drive of must-see attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, The Burren, and Bunratty Castle. For golf enthusiasts, several world-class championship courses are also nearby.

The house features three spacious upstairs bedrooms, including a master king-size suite with an en-suite bathroom and power shower. A second bedroom with twin beds and a third with a large queen-size double offer ample comfort for guests. The living areas include a cozy sitting room with an open fire, a welcoming living room with a stove, and a fully equipped kitchen and utility room. The main upstairs bathroom offers a relaxing bathtub and shower combination.

Surrounded by panoramic views as far as the eye can see of the Irish Countryside a BBQ area set within a tranquil orchard, perfect for evening gatherings. We offer plenty of parking and storage for your convenience.

A car is required to travel around the area and to Adare Village.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully rural - you can feel the history here having once been a working dairy farm. One of the sweetest surprises was meeting Sadie, the friendly farm dog, who made our stay even more special. The hosts have thought of everything to make the space inviting and relaxing. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some down time. Less than 2 hour drive to almost any popular attraction. We left feeling rested and grateful, highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a truly comfortable setting.

This farmhouse is a great find for a relaxing vacation in a quiet farm area. The house has everything one needs, is full of beautiful antiques, clean and comfortable and had quite a few host-provided amenities (like a requested outside grill) and some welcomed food, us being so tired of traveling from the U.S. (and before we got to a store!). The grounds are beautiful and well manicured, wonderful to walk around, especially the orchard! Our hosts Anne and Dan were so friendly and accommodating. Dan willingly shared the history of their place - fascinating! We also loved Sadie (their dog) who came over to greet us often and got lots of petting and love! We shared the house with our friends who flew in from Jacksonville FL, and they loved it also. I hope we will have the chance to come back, as we have friends near Adare, another reason we chose this place. On a scale of 100, this rates 150!!! Kathy & Travis Turk, Nashville TN

We were a family of four, two adults, along with a 21 yr old and 17 yr old kids. This was a perfect spot for us. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The grounds were calm, relaxing and beautiful. The hosts couldn’t have been more kind and generous. It was an easy 15 minute drive to Adare and easy access to serve as our homebase throughout the trip! If we ever have the chance, we’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend!!

Beautiful farmhouse with all the amenities. The hosts made us feel at home on entry with some basic essentials and snacks. Nice and quiet with gorgeous views from a short walk up their property. A nice cozy living room with a fire ready to be lit. The property was centrally located to tourist attractions within an hour and half to two hours. You also have an excellent Host to give you insights to the best ways to get around. A pub/restaurant is a short drive and Adare is not far which is a lovely village.

The Earlson Farmhouse was a wonderful place to stay. Dan and Anne were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We fell in love with the sweet Sadie the farmhouse dog, who welcomed us home everyday. The farmhouse is lovely and comfortable. We came to find the farm of our Irish ancestor and Dan was very helpful, as he knows the area well. There were treats waiting for us when we arrived. We highly recommend this location, and we will have memories to last a lifetime!

We had an amazing time staying at Anne and Dan's farm home. They were very responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond by leaving us snacks and kitchen staples for our late arrival. One day we had gotten very wet while out on a tour and left our shoes outside the next day. While we were out and about, it started to rain. They were thoughtful enough to move our shoes out of the rain! So kind. They had many great recommendations. It was great!

Earlson Farmhouse was everything we could’ve wanted and more! Ann and Dan were the best hosts! The only downside of our trip was we didn’t get a chance to spend more time on the farm. Loved meeting James and some of the other grandkids and we even helped feed the baby lambs. Thank you so much Ann and Dan for all of your hospitality and making us feel so much at home. Anne and Dan are wonderful hosts in a beautiful farmhouse located in a central area of the West coast of Ireland for all types of sightseeing. They were knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals. All of the rooms were very comfortable and homely with lots of books about Limerick and Ireland. The farmhouse is truly picturesque and our family of four adults had a marvelous time. Dan and Anne were gracious hosts. The farmhouse had everything we needed and the lack of a strong Wi-Fi connection was a blessing in disguise. Sadie the family dog was a lovely addition to our trip. We looked forward to being greeted by her. A lovely supply of of local items were a nice surprise. Kitchen was well stocked. Outside areas were nice to come home to as the weather was beautiful. I will miss having our morning coffee in the sun room.

This location is an amazing, period Irish Farmhouse,. For folks visiting from outside of Ireland, this quaint building is situated in a beautiful part of Irish countryside and central for visits to many places of interest, including the west coast, Galway, Cork and the Ring of Kerry. The rooms were clean. comfortable and everything was in great working order. Of all the VRBO’s that we have rented, this rental stands out by the warm and welcoming experience that we received from the hosts Anne and Dan. They wowed us by providing some tasty provisions and their knowledge of Ireland and the surrounding area was comprehensive, helping us seek out a number of awesome places to visit This is a must place to stay !

From the moment that we pulled up to this charming farmhouse we were enchanted. It is on a beautiful property, with ample private parking. It is spacious and adorable inside with all of the amenities that you need for a comfortable and cozy stay. The owners, Dan and Anne, are some of the nicest people that you will ever meet, they were both gracious and kind and had a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Dan even came in every afternoon while we were out sightseeing and cleaned and rebuilt our fire for us, which was such a delightful surprise. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and there was even a full washer and dryer in the utility room. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay around Limerick.

Ann and Dan were gracious, knowledgeable and very helpful hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dan. He showed us the house and property, gave us recommendations for places to visit and where to buy groceries, and pointed out walking trails, and the local pub. Sadie (the farm dog) was a daily visitor and always accompanied us on our walks. Great location for daily excursions in any direction. If staying here, a rental car is highly recommended. This home sleeps 6 people very comfortably and has 3 full bathrooms. Everything works and the hosts are incredible. You will need a car or driver if you want to explore the vast number of places within reach. We would definitely recommend the Earlson Farmhouse.

We were lucky enough to call this comfortable yet elegant property home for 4 nights. Dan and Ann were lovely hosts, with tips and a well-stocked kitchen. The place is so well-appointed that we even hosted a dinner party, with cocktails on the terrace.

What a lovely house! The property is incredibly comfortable, large and well stocked. The welcome food was all excellent and really well received. The hosts could not do more to make you feel welcome. There were even toys out for our children when we arrived and they got bikes and trikes from the shed for my son to play with one day. Would thorough recommend with Neville Cross pub and Adare is so close it was perfect for us to stay during a wedding there.

A cozy welcoming farmhouse surrounded by fields and views to the hills. Anne and Dan greeted us warmly, providing food to get us started after an overnight flight. They shared the history of the region and the farm (5 generations)! We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years in many countries and in U.S. Never have we received such care and friendship and a perfect place from which to explore beautiful Ireland!
