About this house rental
Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath 2,500 square foot townhome is located at the base of Purgatory and offers convenience in all seasons. It was gutted and completely remodeled and professionally decorated several years ago and the huge deck off the main living space with the hot tub was added in 2022.
The townhome features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and features 4 decks (and gas grill) to enjoy the views in all directions. It's a very short walk to an easy ski run that takes you to the base area. The townhome also features a 2 car garage and the usual amenities such as a washer/dryer, highspeed WIFI (via Starlink), fully stocked kitchen etc. etc. There is no cable TV, but with Starlink you can easily stream your favorite services on multiple devices.
Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are upstairs):
Bedroom 1 - King (TV) Second Floor
Bedroom 2 - Queen and Single over Single Bunk Bed (TV) Second Floor
3rd - Full over Queen Bunk Bed and Double Bed (TV) Second Floor
The townhome is not pet friendly - please do not bring pets.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

The views are stunning and the outdoor patio is really lovely. Housekeeping needs to step it up. The outside looked like it had not been swept in ages. There was a nail right near the hot tub that my child stepped on and there were full cobwebs on every deck. Furniture should be cleaned as well. Also sloppy things, like no soap on arrival and things like that. They indicate that you are given a starter packet of house items and this means only 1 days worth of coffee. Keep this in mind if you don't wish to grocery shopping during your stay. I would have rather paid a dollar a day more and had coffee unlimited. There was also no coffee carafe. The management handled it in an acceptable manner but of course, we wish there were no issues. Honestly, the stay would have been perfect if not for these issues as the place is lovely.

This was an incredible property right on purgatory mountain! We came for a summer get away with a group of friends!! I will share my one complaint and then turn it into a rave - there was a pretty significant sulfur smell in the house, not sure if it was the hot water heater or something in the garage, but it was pretty intense. We even opened windows and it helped a little, but still lingered. It wasn’t too bad though because we spent most of our time outside and loved every second of it! The bedrooms provide plenty of space! The bathrooms are incredible - there’s even a shower sauna in the master! The kitchen is perfect for cooking for groups and is probably the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I’ve ever seen! Even had a kitchen aid mixer! The porch is really the star of the show! Purgatory and Durango have a lot to offer, but we chose to just spend all afternoon on the porch! Playing cards, talking, and soaking up the views! It’s good to know that there’s not really any coffee shops or grocery stores close. We tried to pick up breakfast one morning and the ski resort has super limited options and the next option was about 20/30 mins away! So just be prepared for that, but truly I would 10000% book again! Incredible!

This was a great place to stay for our family. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy together time and have their own space too! We especially enjoyed the large spacious deck and hot tub! The views were amazing from all the east windows. Easy walking distance to the resort pool/large hot tub. The only downfall was the time frame that we were there. The resort activities, stores, and restaurants were closed until the summer season started (1 week from our dates of stay). We were able to make some family dinners in the fully stocked kitchen. It was nice to have the ability to do some laundry with the private washer/dryer in thos condo. We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of hiking was a plus! June 2-June 7th

My wife and four kids (ages 5 - 10) stayed in this condo for a week at the end of February 2025. Our main priority was skiing at Purgatory Resort. The condo has significant potential, but we had a few issues during our stay. Pros-The deck and the view are outstanding. The deck has a large hot tub, a Blackstone grill, and ample seating. -The condo is well-furnished and has plenty of beds to accommodate large families or groups. Cons-The condo wasn't very clean when we arrived. The dishes, windows, and floors all needed attention. -The property listing says, "steps to the slopes." This is very misleading. They're technically correct if you consider hundreds of steps up and downhill "steps to the slopes." We drove to the resort daily, negating staying close to the mountain. -Communication with property management leaves a lot to be desired.-The fire pit on the deck doesn't work. -One of the deck heaters had an empty propane tank. I asked property management if they could bring us a refill. They said, "Of course," but then never showed up. There were other minor issues, but you get the point. Overall, the home has much to like, but it is held back by property management and the cleaning crew. If we return to Purgatory, we'll most likely find a different place to stay.
