About this house rental
This waterfront Lake Gaston home has wonderful views and an excellent location to enjoy on your vacation. The home is 2400 sq ft with new carpet and all new furnishings. Very comfortable from the moment you arrive.
Top floor there are two bedrooms: 1 queen and 2 sets of bunk beds, with 1 full bath. There is also a desk in the loft area for those who need to work from "home".
Main floor has living room, dining area, full kitchen, full bath, and Master BR (King) that opens onto deck. Living room opens to lakeside deck with new weber gas grill, dining table and outside seating.
Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware and BIG refrigerator. We also have a coffee pot that allows for traditional brewing or use of individual pods!
There is a flat screen TV and in the living room and rec room.
Downstairs there is 1 queen bedroom, 1 full bath, and a rec room. The rec room has a pull-out queen sleeper sofa, TV, and a few games, books, games and a table for eating or games. There is a covered patio off of the rec room with a large picnic table and swing! There is also a laundry room in the basement with washer and dryer. We also have cornhole boards, camp chairs and tongs for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs in the fire pit.
The water is approximately 4.5 ft deep at the end of the boathouse. You have plenty of area for a boat. There is great fishing is right off the dock. For the sun lovers there is a large open deck and for those who would prefer the shade, there is a covered seating area. There is a canoe and kayak and some life jackets available for your use. We are in a wide cove a short distance from the main lake and Eaton Ferry Marina. The private neighborhood boat ramp (no fee) is literally next door to our property!
We are in the middle of Lake Gaston putting you close to all activities including the grocery store which is just 10 minutes away.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lake house! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards during the day, and the fire pit was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Great spot for a peaceful and fun getaway—would definitely come back!

This was our first time visiting Lake Gaston. The house is a great location on a cove off the main channel. The boat ramp was conveniently located next door to the house. The dock worked great for our boat; it was nice not having to take the boat in and out everyday. The house was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had to communicate with the owner a few times and they were very helpful and responsive.

The location was amazing! It was quite and allowed us to paddle board, kayak, and float without worry! Even being next to the neighborhood boat access it wasn’t busy, I think we maybe encountered 3 boats the whole week. House was plenty big for our group of 8 and no one felt like they were on top of anyone. 3 full bathrooms and a separate living room for the kids is a game changer! We had a great week and we will be back!
