Sherrie has a beautiful, spacious home that is in a perfect location for visiting all that Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs, and even Denver has to offer. The home was cozy and comfortable and the views are incredible! Sherrie is a very responsive and communicative host! Couldn't have been a better stay!

We loved this house! It’s in a very convenient location to restaurants etc and the views are amazing from the patio. The downstairs Den area is a nice area to hang out. The beds are super comfy and everything was clean. The host was super responsive and helpful! We were a bit disappointed in only two things. One that the lake is just for the view, when we rented the house we assumed our 4 boys would be able to fish in the lake, but you are not allowed to use the lake at all. I would not have booked the house had I known that prior, but when we booked it was in the waiver after we were past our cancellation refund time. Only other complaint is that there is only one smart tv in the house, and it had very limited options. We actually bought a Roku stick to watch the game we wanted to see on new years and had to kind of battle our kids for the TV the entire week. Lol. If you don’t plan to watch tv then not an issue for you but we wanted some down time away and another smart tv in the other living at least would be a nice addition. Overall it was a great stay!

The Mountain View was amazing, the house was clean and contained everything that was needed for our stay. The communication was excellent. When I inquired about a Christmas Tree for the stay the host had one delivered and ready for us! It was a perfect 1st destination Christmas!

These pictures do no justice! From the moment we walked into this house from the moment we checked out we were just more then satisfied! It had everything we needed, and wanted! And it felt like our home away from home! Being that I have 4 children from small to big I wanted to make sure we found the perfect house that we were all comfortable in! This house was definitely it! This house is huge and the kitchen is perfect with that spectacular view! I looked forward to getting up early and seeing the deers in the back yard! And the drive to everywhere we went was perfect distance not too far or too close! Im very thankful that the owners attended to our needs and had very good communication with us at all time! We plan on visiting Colorado again soon and we will be staying here for sure again! Thank you Sherrie for renting us this beautiful home! And thank you for our welcome gift!

This beautiful home was perfect for my group of friends and I to have a quilting/crafting retreat. There was a lot of room for us to spread out and work on our projects, and we loved sitting around the big dining room table every night for dinner and to play cards. My favorite part of the home was the kitchen. Great layout and plenty of room for several people to cook a meal together. Great place for a group! Sherrie was very responsive whenever I had questions.

We were unaware that there was no air conditioning and that all the windows needed to be opened for cool off the house. Also, it says there is a hot tub- there is no hot tub. There is a small bathroom jacuzzi for one or two small people to use. 3 bedrooms= 6 people. There is an inflatable mattress for a 7th person to sleep on. Outside landscaping needed maintenance. Private lake- only good to look at. No swimming or boating or fishing. All laundry had to be washed and dried before we left, which made for a very hectic morning. I have stayed have several VRBO's, and although the location was peaceful, the mountains are beautiful and the house was spacious and clean, this unfortunately was not one of my favorite VRBO experiences.

My family and I stayed 4 night at the beginning of June. The house has tons of space, a great view from the deck, nice and cool basement, quiet neighborhood, and has quick access to the highway in between Colorado Springs and Denver. The house has no AC if you plan to stay in the summer, but just opening the windows cools the house and makes it feel great. Overall my family had a great time staying there.

Great property with an amazing view! Everything you need for a Colorado trip is here -- location, plenty of room, great basement, wifi, kitchen supplies, spacious bathrooms and more. The house is a little outdated but who cares when you're on vacation. We didn't watch any TV, but if that's your thing there are no sports channels available. Sherrie was very responsive and the folder they put together on recommendations is a great touch! We'll be back...

We had to travel to Colorado from Illinois for a funeral. This house was perfect for our family of 7. Even though we were there for unfortunate circumstances, this house was so beautiful & had such amazing views of the lake & mountains! It was very peaceful. Even though the home does not have AC, we didn't have any problems with the windows open. We also ended up needing to stay 1 more extra night, as we were too exhausted to make the long drive back home. Sherrie was so wonderful & accommodating!! I texted her & she got back to us right away. Thank you for sharing your home!!

The location was perfect as far as attractions within a 30 minute-1 hour radius. The house was well stocked, and the host was outstanding. The few text messages that i sent to her were answered in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend!!!

This was a great home for our stay in Monument. The house is spacious across the two levels. Lots of comfortable furniture to lounge on. The fireplace was very nice to have on the snowy, cold days of our stay. The amenities throughout the house were a nice touch.

Great overall experience. The property was lovely and spacious, easily accommodation 8 people (2 children). It was conveniently located close to the Air Force Academy. My only advice is if you are renting in the winter and have a rental car, upgrade the car to all wheel drive. The roads were a little treacherous after about a 5-6" snowfall.

We traveled from the East and West Coast for a family wedding. The house is in great proximity to the market, gas stations and restaurants. Close enough to the highway but far enough removed so you don’t hear the traffic. The house was also perfectly situated within close driving distance of activities and sightseeing places. We went to Red rocks amphitheater, Garden of the gods, old Colorado city , the Air Force Academy and numerous locations for hikes. The house is beautifully appointed. Bathrooms with granite tops, jacuzzi hit the spot after exploring the area , rooms decorated with reminders of Colorado wildlife and sports activities, spacious living areas, comfy oversized couches, fully equipped kitchen,granite counters and ample seating .(we never fully figured out how to use the toaster but didn’t burn any bagels LOL), entertainment ready basement, we loved playing pool and enjoyed having breakfast on the upper deck and afternoon birdwatching on the lake from the lower deck. We saw a pair of mule deer feeding in the neighbors yard. Beautiful view of eastern foothills at the base of the Rockies. The house is not air-conditioned however the interior temperature was never uncomfortable, even with daytime temperatures in the low 80s. We hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our visit to Colorado in this home. The house had everything we needed, we didn’t have to go to the store to buy much other than food and snacks. Had lots of fun playing pool. Home owner was quick at responding. Only downfall that I wasn’t aware of is there is no AC but it cooled off every evening and we opened the windows.

My family had an awesome time at this house. The views are beautiful, worked as a great home base as we explored Colorado Springs. The host was very fast and helpful with communication. The only item I should have read more carefully was the fact there is no AC to cool the home. It was 82 degrees when we got there in the home. The listing says nothing about AC, so I should not have made this assumption. Once the host recommended to open the windows it helped a lot and made it cool enough, especially in the evening for sleeping. The house is huge and very open. We were surprised by the size even with the pictures. We would stay here again.

I'm not criticizing the owner "at all". The place was absolutely beautiful and located in a well located "private" area. Perfectly located near Monument and in between Denver and Colorado Springs. My only gripe is we had bad luck with noise and neighbors even though it was no worse then back home. Construction behind the house that for some reason took all week plus to do a patio beside a small shed. Other neighbors started their day at 7 am sharp every day. Thought the house was more secluded then it was. Overall gorgeous views of the mountains and deer run thru the yard to feed.
