About this cottage rental
Located just east of Oostburg, Wisconsin beach and lake front home is a place to enjoy the seasons of Lake Michigan. You have your own 200 foot 'singing sand' beach. Home is located on a private road among native stands of hemlock and pine trees. The property has historically been known as 'The Clearing'. The beach is back as the picture of December 2024 shows! Should be a great season on the beach at the Clearing!
This Non-Smoking home sleeps six. The dominant windows bring the outside in throughout the house. Additional amenities include wood burning stove, beach campfire site, dining area overlooks the lake, sunroom and cove rooms for coffee and quiet time overlooking the lake. Extra cabin in the rear has electricity, another two twin beds, and wood burning stove. This extra cabin provides a quiet place to get away from others or fun for the kids to hang out in.
Area Information: 43 miles north of downtown Milwaukee via I-43 and ten miles south of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Nearby attractions begin with golfing (Blackwolf Run Courses, The Irish, Whistling Straits - site of PGA events, The Bull, The Bog, and others). Variety of shopping is available with Kohler, Cedarburg, Sheboygan riverfront, and antique shops throughout the vicinity. Motor sports at Road America at Elkhart Lake. Bike trail access is within four miles in Oostburg. Daily fee access to public boat launch facility is six miles south. Nearby state parks of Kohler Andre and Harrington Beach provide further samplings of the area’s natural beauty. Casual and fine dining are available in Oostburg, Kohler and Sheboygan. Milwaukee area is home to many major events and attractions with less than an hour’s drive.

Absolutely stunning location with Lake Michigan right in your backyard. Lots of sandy beach with a great view. Tons to do nearby, with easy access to the neighboring communities of Oostburg and Sheboygan. Also close to several fantastic state parks, with the Kohler Andres park only about a 10 minute drive that offers many beautiful trails. A real gem, one of a kind place that you will love. Pet friendly too!

Beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The house is comfortable with lots of seating, great views of the water, and a full kitchen. Comfortable beds. Easy strolls on the beach. We loved it.
