A true cabin in the woods experience. This home has lots of charm with natural wood features, wood burning fireplace and an open concept living and dining area. The living space has cozy furnishings, cable TV and views of the common areas of the Ranch Cabins. The dining room has seating for 6 to enjoy a meal whipped up in the well-stocked kitchen.

On the main level you’ll find a bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom. Head upstairs to find a queen bedroom, full bathroom and a loft with a twin+trundle day bed for additional sleeping space.

There’s a private hot tub for your use or enjoy a dip in the community pool. Hop on one of the bikes and take a leisurely ride around Sunriver or just chill on the deck and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Whatever you are looking for, you’re sure to find it at Ranch Cabin 17.

This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.

This home welcomes dogs, 2 max, no other pets are allowed. Fees apply

This was our second staying in a Ranch Cabin (we stayed in a different cabin a few years ago). The location of the cabins is great, and the amenities (specifically the neighborhood pool) make the Ranch Cabins a hit with our kids. Cabin 17 was very clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen, a nice hot tub, a BBQ with plenty of extra propane, and several bikes included. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!

Great cabin. Not fancy, but it has the best appointed kitchen I have ever seen in a vacation rental. Even the frying pans were nonstick and of all sizes. Easy walk to a wildlife are and bike paths.

Pleasant cabin, very well equipped! Comfortable beds, great location. One small complaint, the furnace is loud, but at nite I turned the thermostat down to 55, and the bedding provided kept everyone warm. Unit description indicates 2 queen beds in upstairs bedroom but there is only one (this didn’t create a problem for our group of 4).

We really enjoyed our little weekend getaway. The house was really clean and comfortable. Bummed they didn’t have a lot of little things available, like coffee and creamer. Also, the pictures make it seem a little more woodsy and secluded, which isn’t really true. But we still really liked it.

Great stay, the meadow house was very well outfitted. Television system needs to be part of the nightly and it was a bummer the fireplace did not work. Everything else was very well done and things do happen! We had a blast! The weather was perfect!

Great house! The bikes and the bike trails were a highlight of the weekend. House was very clean and it was very easy to check in and out of the property. Why I gave 4 stars was because the houses were really close together and for me the living room TV could have been a little bit bigger. Otherwise, it was a great stay! Great weather! The location of the cabin was perfect for getting around all of Sunriver (even on bikes)! The cabin was a perfect size for our small family but the living room furniture smelled like dogs and was old and mismatched.

Super clean and perfect for our family of four and small dog. Kitchen had all the pots, etc. we needed to cook our meals, plus a grill outside. Pleasant, quiet location. Small pool was close by. Hot tub at the cabin was great. Comfortable beds and furniture. Note there is no AC, but we were comfortable. Would stay there again.

My husband and I found this cabin to be very cozy and we really liked the layout. The galley kitchen is spacious and opens onto the living room in an open floor plan that made cooking and visiting very enjoyable. We were so happy that it had a nice authentic fireplace in which you can actually burn wood! :-) From the pictures it looks like the master bedroom has had some decorating updates - very inviting and a super comfortable king sized bed. We loved it in the winter and I'm hoping to go back during the summer months to be able to use the private community pool area, as the SHARC aquatic facility is just a little too overwhelming for us. Also a bonus is that it is pet friendly should you have that requirement. HIghly recommend for groups of 2-5! PS - Check out the new biking and hiking trail from Circle 7 that leads to Benham Falls, and the Mountain Jug Tap Room!

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

We stayed at Ranch Cabin 17 for four nights between Christmas and New Year. It was wonderful to stay at Sunriver in the snow, in a seemingly rustic cabin with all of the amenities you come to expect in a home. A large wood burning fireplace kept the cabin warm and cozy, although it wasn't needed with the forced air furnace that was available. All the firewood you could want was stacked next to the house for the guests use. The Hot tub was a welcome comfort, especially for those playing in the snow all day. The kitchen was well equipped, the loft and bedroom upstairs were perfect for our teenagers and their friends they brought with them. The new king bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, that we want to buy one just like it. We are looking forward to staying here again in the summer, when we can make use of the private community pool. Bennington Properties manages this cabin, and they are the best management company at Sunriver (or anywhere) that we have ever used. This cabin is one of their "Dog Loving" vacation rentals, so we got to take our Black Lab here with us for the first time to Sunriver. She really loved it there as well.
