This Suite is a peaceful and private apartment for two. Sleep comfortably in a queen size bed and relax in the cozy living area. The kitchenette includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction cooktop, dinnerware, and basic cooking tools. Please note that there is no dishwasher or traditional oven.
Guest Access:
This is a private apartment with it's own separate entrance. Guests have access to the shared courtyard, patio, and heated swimming pool.
The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!
Getting Around:
Charleston is a walking city! Uber is widely available. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE (1) off-street parking space. We suggest bringing an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.
Other Things to Note:
• Please note our cancellation policy - All Cancellations eligible for refund are subject to pay credit card processing fee of 3.8%
• Wifi and Roku streaming device available (no standard cable)
• Free Tesla and EV charger located on property in dedicated charging space for guest use only.
• Please be considerate of our surrounding neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM
• 1 free off-street parking space
• No smoking within 30 feet of the property. Violating this rule may result in fines.
• Check in is at 4 PM, Check out is at 11 AM. Please consider these times when booking travel as we can not guarantee early check in's or late check out's.

Host was very nice, we had an issue the first day with the upstairs unit having the water running all day/night and when I contacted host at first they said it was normal (which is strange). Then I mentioned it again the next day and they had someone come out to find out there was a plumbing issue upstairs. I do wish I would have been listened to the first time, since it was super annoying. But glad they fixed it the next day. The place is very nice, many amenities and close to shopping and dining. There was a cold snap when we were there and the pool is a bit far of a walk for us to want to freeze coming back from, so that was a bummer, but it felt warm to the touch and wish the weather would have cooperated. The courtyard is very cute, with fountains and a koi pond. It was kind of loud in the vicinity as there may be a school next door, lots of outdoor basketball being played and they are noisy. Just something to keep in mind, it is a city though.

We found the efficiency as listed. It was small as expected but clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice feature once you managed to get to it! Not right at the bottom of your entry steps as it appears in the pics. Disappointing that you did not supply even the smallest amount of dish soap, sponge, dish towel, hot mitt, etc. Oh, let's not forget that you can't adjust the thermostat on your own! You need to call, and they will adjust it for you! Other than that, the interior of the listing was acceptable at best. Entry into the property is another story! It was horrible! OK, there was a new roof being installed when we arrived and had to climb over all the torn off shingles and trash carrying a weeks worth of supplies! I was waiting to get a nail in my foot! We should have been warned & we would have delayed our entry. I understand this is an historical area which is exactly why we were there but the entry to the property was horrendous! Anyone with the slightest mobility issues would never make it up to the property. Many uneven steps and turns everywhere! Some steps 12" high! The best part was the old flower bed or whatever that was immediately around one of the corners to enter. If you forgot it was there you were falling flat on your face! Due to all the uneven steps & corridors to enter there were patio lights almost everywhere to light your way, but this made for a daytime experience inside the property when you were trying to sleep. I cannot give this property a 5* rating by any means.
