Glenview Heads Apartments

An excellent mountain view of some of the greatest house designs I’ve seen yet. Incredibly snug and comfortable little studio that is just perfect for a winter trip, thanks to the electric blanket and heater, creating that prefect feeling if it starts raining. The atmosphere was something out of a classic villa in Greece or Italy (not that I have ever been). We felt truly at home.

It is an insignificant problem to others, but considering my bf is 6’6, finding blankets that cover his entire body in hotels or BnBs is nearly impossible. This however, is small issue that is overshadowed by all the positives this place had to offer.

The location and the views were phenomenal. It was so green and lush. Very pretty area. Our host Graham was excellent at communicating with us on how to find our room, where to park etc. Very friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness and professionalism.

The host communication was wonderful and clear. The host also arranged to have our car park in the undercover parking.

The bed was very uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It was excessively bouncy, which meant we kept waking up during the night. The shower was also disappointing, with extremely low water pressure. In an effort to conserve water, we tried turning the shower off while soaping and back on to rinse, but even then it was difficult to rinse properly. Eventually, I gave up and used my sister’s accommodation instead. The sea view apartment has windows which open onto an undercover parking area. Being woken early in the morning by cars starting and moving around was quite unpleasant.
