About this cottage rental
My great little cottage is located across the road from Great Pond, a fresh water lake. It's half a mile from the bay (First Encounter Beach) and a mile from the ocean (Coast Guard Beach). The bicycle path, which you can take all the way up to Provincetown, runs right behind the property.
There is an open kitchen/dining/living area, three small bedrooms and one bathroom. We have a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, lobster pot, bakeware, hand mixer, blender, an outdoor shower, screened-in porch, and a charcoal grill.

There were a few things that bothered me about the cottage. It didn’t feel clean - there were cobwebs and it was pretty dusty. I needed to wipe down some of the woodwork and screens. There were bugs indoors as well (spiders, centipedes) and tiny flying bugs would get in at night when the lights were on. At times the kitchen area smelled musty. (Anne was very quick to respond about getting someone over to check it out but we were out too much to make that work) . The beds are really old and need replacing. On the plus side, the location is ideal. It was nice having the lake across the street and Coast Guard Beach was a quick 5 minute drive.
