The location was fabulous and I knew that was what we were paying for. I appreciated the complimentary laundry and dishwasher soap pods. It was also nice to have some beach gear available for use. I could not find our snorkel sets before our departure, and though it took me a day or two to figure out they were outside in the water heater cabinet, I truly valued being able to use the ones on the property as opposed to buying or renting some, especially because snorkeling is not as accessible on Kauai as it is on the big island; the water is very dangerous and it is important to be aware of finding a safe place to get in.
All these comments are in regards to the overall cost of staying at this location. Many of these issues I would overlook if I thought I got a good price. I paid a premium price, and there were a few expectations that were not met:
1) The beds were not comfortable at all. I quickly realized this, but I was shocked when my kids told me their beds were uncomfortable.
2) There was a very dirty footstool that completely grossed me out. I did not want to use it, and tried to put it out of sight, but my family kept on putting it out for use. I expected to have a visually clean space.
3) The wifi did not work in the master bedroom. The owner should spend $150 and get a mesh system so there is adequate wifi connection in the bedroom. It would also most likely help with getting wifi internet access at the pool. I'm on the fence as to whether I should have expected internet at the pool, but I definitely know it would have been nice to have it there, especially when I brought my speaker out to the pool for a beautiful breakfast and then realized I had been paying for the music the whole time.
4) This was unavoidable, but there was a neighbor that owns one of the condominiums and she made herself known right away. She reinforced all the rules of conduct outlined in the paperwork provided when booking this location. We had many good laughs about not doing what we are supposed to and having her come hose us down as that was the front she used when letting us know she was keeping an eye on us.

clean and comfortable, Kapaa is a nice central location, beach and pool weren’t busy, restaurant and grocery stores close.

It was spacious and well located with a very nice, private patio. There was a glimpse of the ocean, however you only had to take a few steps to see a full ocean view. The pool was a very nice temperature. There were lots of dishes, cooking supplies, etc. in the kitchen. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Parking was handy to the unit. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo.
