Air conditioning works properly. The food is very good and normal prize for the zone. The Cambodians people working there are very nice and kind (not the manager or volunteers)

Normally I'm not the type of person who writes bad reviews, but my experience here was disappointing. The manager was very impolite. I arrived early in the morning and he told me to “go walk around until 2 pm” for the check-in. I know those are the rules, but it was the beginning of the season, and he could have at least checked if there was space for an early check-in, like other hostels on the beach usually do. I also saw the same manager speaking very badly to the local employees. What a shame. I'm traveling again after two years, so I’m choosing low-budget places. I stayed four nights in this hostel because at the beginning it was $3 per night, but they increased the price by $1 every day. On the last day I saw an offer on Booking, and I asked the manager if he could give the same price to me and my friend. Instead, he changed the price in front of us and increased it by another dollar. We immediately checked out and went to another place much better for the same price. I really don't understand why they keep increasing the price without doing any maintenance or repairs: The curtains in the dorm kept falling to the floor and making noise. One toilet in the dorm wasn’t working, so eight people had to share a single bathroom. There was no place to hang clothes or a towel in the shower. No hot water either, although that part is understandable because of the weather.
